This is very nice and a very pretty brooch. Would make a nice gift for someone. It is a nice size. The purple one is a little bright purple on the face. It is not the pretty purple shown in the picture. Still nice.

The pictures does not do ths piece justice. It is beautiful. I love the option of wearing it as a pendant or a brooch.

Very nice pin it was a gift

This arrived very quickly and in a really nice box. When I opened the box, the "bling" of the rhinestones was beautiful and very understated. This may be my favorite costume jewelry pin I own (and I have quite a few). It's heavy but does not drag any of my scarves down. Nor has it left any small holes in any fabric I've worn it with. The back lock needed a few times of opening and closing to loosen up, but it seems fine now. I think this is a very versitle pin, too. I can wear it to weddings, funerals and work. I fits in to any dressy affair and any casual affair. The price was right, very VERY inexpensive so I am quite surprised to have such a durable piece of costume jewelry. However, I haven't had it very long, so if anything should change, I will be writing again.

As a docent at a local house museum I wear a Victorian costume. I needed an era appropriate cameo and found this one online. It really is surprisingly lovely considering the price. I expected something a little more plastic looking, but was pleasantly surprised to receive a cameo that I will actually wear out of costume.
