Review In short, Carol has done it again it's fabulous and everything you'd want from a coloring book. It is worth noting here that the paper is better than some of the other books that I have bought. This coloring book is a paperback, it is also bright white and is smooth. I found blending and shading with colored pencils quite a bit easier and you can create as many layers as you might like to. Water-based pens don't bleed. The images are printed single side and are so beautiful that you want to frame them. The book contains more than 100 pages and 50 stunning images which is way more than what you get with the other books. This book is brilliant because it has a wide variety of images and patterns ranging from relatively simple all the way to intricate and detailed and requires a lot of concentration thus distracting you from anxious thoughts and low mood. The detail and intricacy in this book is definitely a cut above the rest. The nature of the imagery in this book is superb for calming you down and helping you to zone out. I find nature scenes the best thing for calming down my anxious racing mind and this book really does that. If you like Carol s previous two books then you re sure to love this one. If this is your first Carol Sparks book you will enjoy getting introduced to a superb illustrator s work.
