Cramer Classic 5-Pad Football Girdle, Youth Football Girdle with Hip

My 5 yr old wants everything his 12 yr old brother has and these worked perfectly! We got the youth small. They fit his waist and he is a very small 5 yr old, they were a little long on him but they are just for playing football with his brothers in the backyard. Great Quality!

These fit true to size. Got the Job done. I ordered a Youth M for my 8 year old who is about 75lbs. I ordered my 11 year old the Schutt brand from Academy as he is huskier and tackles alot more so I wanted to make sure he was protected compare the 2 brands and honestly for the price difference of 30 bucks its not too much of a difference.

The quality is good for these however they run a little small.

Well made girdle with acceptable padding. Ordered two of these in a youth medium size for our twin 10 year old boys. Both weigh in the 80 to 90 pound range and the medium fit them well. They are tight and they have to do a little dance to get them on, but I'd rather have them snug that too loose. Once they're on, the boys say they feel great. The hip and tailbone pads are both flexible and maybe not as firm or protective as I would like, but the thigh pads have a solid plastic inner core so they are firm and substantial. There is a pocket in the front for a "nut cup" if that is important to you. Overall, a great product for the price.

My son uses it for all of his football practices and games. The only pads we have to switch out now are his knee pads, which is really convenient. It has really held up well to the constant use and washing. I feel that my son is well protected in both practices and games when there is heavy contact. The girdle was recommended by our football coach and I am so glad we got it.
