it's not a door handle kit only door handle and lock no latch assembly

Gave it 1 star for value due to no latch assembly. It's label is misleading since it says its a kit when it actually only a door handle and lock. My handle was fine just needed the latch as a spring broke inside and couldn't fix it so returned this due to the not included latch assembly. It's over priced for not including the latch!

Replacement Handle

This was a replacement for an existing handle. We were just changing our color scheme and wanted a different finish. It was nice to know the mechanics of the handle had not changed in 20+ yrs.

Door cuts in my older door not same.

I had to enlarge the screw holes top & bottom to get plate to sit flat against my Pella storm door. It took time an awl helped and bolted it on inside of door to secure it to keep it from moving away from door plate.
