Absolutely yes. I was using a 3MFF100 with the 3MFF101 filter. Currently I am using the HF60-S. The SQC head is exactly the same.

Hello, Thank you for asking! The HF60-S is a filtration cartridge used in the filtration model ICE160-S, it is only specified to filter out large particulates and scale. To remove sodium, the best water filtration system by 3M (The makers of Cuno) would be the 3M Aqua-Pure 3MRO401 Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System. Hi Salvador, There are a few key differences between the 3M Cuno HF60-S and the 3M Aqua-Pure 3MFF101. The HF60-S is a replacement cartridge most commonly used in "High Flow" systems, mainly the ICE Series (model ICE160-S), due to this. The 3MFF101 is the complete system which is specified for residential under--the-sink needs. You'll want to determin if you are just needing a replacement cartridge or if you're needing a new system altogether. Everything is good now.

The ice maker I installed this water filter to began to malfunction after a month. I found greenish crystals plugging up a valve in the ice maker. Apparently, the material inside the filter was leaking a bit so I just flushed it out some more until no more loose material was present. I should have flushed out the filter at the beginning before hooking it to the ice maker. Everything is good now.
