I was consuming 5 mg of melatonin every single day, but then I lowered my dose to this product. It did take me some time to get used to it, but after I did, I was extremely thankful. I never woke up groggy, I never woke up feeling like I could use some extra sleep. It was always the right amount. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to try out, melatonin for the first time.

I took one of these pills before my nightly shower. After getting into bed, I was asleep in record time. Roughly 15 minutes after getting into bed, according to my smartwatch. A dramatic improvement over the 2 hours that it normally takes me.But throughout the night, I experienced VIVID dreams. Nearly life-like. It started off with a nightmare where I was beating people up for no reason..? It got so intense that I woke up in the middle of the night, but then promptly fell back asleep upon realizing that it was just a dream.After falling asleep, I promptly slipped back into the land of dreams, where I had a much more pleasant dream; cuddling with a classmate. I woke up that morning in a state of bliss.Anyways, this product really does the job. It helped me to get my sleep schedule back on track, and I had some... Interesting dreams, in the process. Highly recommend, especially if you're a lucid dreamer.

I have tried it all. I’ve used Valerian root. I’ve used prescription stuff, (which gave me horrible nightmares and cottonmouth, among other side effects.) I’ve used OTC supplements. I’ve even used melatonin that is higher dose.When I was told about this, I was super skeptical. That was about three years ago, and numerous orders ago. I gave this an honest shot, and it seems to have set my circadian rhythm just right.I take it around 7pm or so, and I fall asleep pretty easily and peacefully around 11 or earlier. If I want to stay up later, I usually can. This has just been a godsend. I also usually stay asleep too. And THAT is a huge part of why I like it. I’m not groggy in the morning and I wake up pretty early usually. This stuff works for me. I did have to give it time though. I think a few weeks of using it would do the trick.

Like the smaller dosage, however it did not enable me to sleep a full 6 hours without waking. Will keep it on hand though as a "fall back" when needed. Ordered the 500 mcg and will try that to see if it helps to keep me sleeping at least another 1-2 hours. I took this capsule 1 hour prior to going to bed, no tv, computer just reading. Cannot wait to try the 500 mcg.

I didn't realize all these years that melatonin isn't supposed to be consumed so heavily. As soon as I found that out, looking for 500mcg pills were the next issue. I think 100mcg would work as well, but these work as intended for a couple of us who have a hard time shutting down for the night. Take 1 pill within 2 hours before head being on pillow. Sometimes it doesn't take that long for me.*Note: This review does not justify if the dosage really is 300mcg, as each manufacturer can vary.

Melatonin has NEVER worked for me. I tried 5mg for a while and it always left me restless. I would toss endlessly to fall asleep just to find myself awake nearly every hour throughout the night just exhausted. I found some research articles suggesting that lower doses are more effective and decided to give 300mcg a try. Amazing. It doesn’t make me feel sleepy, but as soon as I close my eyes I’m 100% out. Literally within a few minutes. It has been a game changer for my sleep. Everyone’s sleep needs are different and there are many variables that can affect sleep, but I’d recommend at least giving it a try if the average 3-5mg never worked for you.

I’m a shift worker where my shifts constantly change. I’ve tried a bunch of things to help me sleep and finally found the best combination. A sound machine and the perfect dose of melatonin. If you research melatonin you’ll realize that more is not better. This is the perfect dose and the time release is a great addition. I take this about 30 minutes before I need to sleep and it rehelps keep me asleep. I also don’t feel groggy when I wake up. So far, this is the best I’ve been able to find.
