This measure arrived very quickly. It's good quality, well put together and perhaps therefore a little more durable than the competition. Certainly very good value for money, since this really was not an expensive buy.It was a little larger than I expected, which makes it a little cumbersome to handle but, as I say, it's well put together and I think might suit someone with larger hands or who might like a sure grip.The tape itself is very clearly marked in both inches and centimetres (one set of measurements on either side) with a starting point at the same place on both sides.I would have liked each 'foot' on the imperial side and 'meter' on the metric side to have been marked in red for ease of use. As it is, there's no real delineation between the individual units on either side, so you may need to take some care in reading and interpreting the results.The measure has a nice 'stemless' line lock, so you don't have to battle with the mechanism to stop the tape viciously retracting once you've extended it, and it has a good, smooth mechanism to retract the tape when you're done.It's almost all plastic so I don't know how long it's likely to last, but for now it seems like a pretty good buy to me and I would certainly recommend it.

Awful - DO NOT BUY. Tape separated from spool on the first use. Spool then split in half and coil unravelled.

Really handy for measuring. Small but easy to use

Ordered item description and picture stated 3.6m long, tape received was only 2m long.Tape quality and features look good and diameter measurement is accurate, just not the correct length
