The Best Of Akbar And Birbal (new)

My daughter doesnt like to read at all. Have bought several books on princess, moral stories, etc. but most of them are written in a way that kids can't understand all of them on their own. i had to sit with her and explain various words and content too. She is smart but doesn't like to read. I thought may be Akbar Birbal would be better as she is bored of moral stories. It worked! She promised to read one story a day but now she reads 5 stories every day. Each story takes 5 minutes and she reads on her own and seems quite interested in it. She is 9 and can understand the story completely without needing any help. She can explain what she understood. The stories are short and simple, which helps kids read them independently. Some words are beyond her reach but thats ok as she needs to improve her vocabulary. The font is bigger, making it easier for kids to read comfortably. Overall a good experience. May be I will order Tenali Raman from the same author soon.

I use this book to know the past things. I have a hobby to read and I love this book the most. This book full of wit and cleverness really surprised me.

Bought this for my nephew with an intention to inculcate reading as a habit and he absolutely loved the book. There are images across the book, mostly for each story, making it a delightful read for younger kids as well.
