This digital altimeter/ thermometer is very useful during trekking/ hiking. it shows your altitude with good precision. the fact that it requires just two AAA size batteries makes it more useful. the thermometer is also very useful. Digital compass is also very handy although I have not used it for navigation. It also displays date and time along with the atmospheric pressure making it a very useful device for trekking expeditions.The only feature which lacks accuracy is its weather forecast. During the trekking this device showed rain showers despite the fact that there was no rain within 10 kilometers of the area.If you are looking for a digital altimeter with thermometer and compass with other features this product is a good choice.

The compass is showing wrong directions....I have barely been able to use it for 10 days and it has started to malfunction...

Altitude keeps changing.

The media could not be loaded. I plan to use it during my altitude treks. I used it in high rise building at Bangalore n it's pretty accurate. Barometer reading indicated rain n it actually rained. Cool

The compass does not work at all. after trying to calibrate it 10 times, again and again, the compass never show the same position for the north if you turn the device.Very bad product!
