McFarlane Toys Assassin's Creed IV Black Bart Action Figure (Amazon Exclusive)

I am a fan of pirates in general. I loved the Pirates of the Carribbean movies (even the admittedly terrible fourth one). Heck, I've dressed like a pirate for Halloween for ten of the last twelve years. I am in particular a fan of McFarlane's Assassin's Creed Black Flag figures, and not just because they are pirate figures or figures from a popular game.The articulation on this figure is nice; I believe there are at least fifteen points of articulation going on here, including rotating calf joints to turn the feet inside or out. As someone who opens his figures (yes, I am that guy :-D), I appreciate being able to adjust a figure's leg so it stands on its own. It's also worth mentioning that I think McFarlane Toys made a great decision to give these figures articulation and not make them movable statues like some releases from previous years.The paint job and level of detail is fantastic. McFarlane has always done a great job on details and paint, and this figure is no exception. I haven't played the game, but I've seen enough game footage to see that this figure would blend right in. Love the look of the coat; kind of makes me wish I had a coat like that for my costumes. Even the details on the accessories is great.Speaking of accessories, these are pretty good. Like the inclusion of the rifle. I only wish the sword belt was a little more accommodating of the sword, but maybe that's just me being picky.All in all, a great figure.

This figurine is so well made! I bought two of them, one for me and one for a friend. I got it a great price and I'm satisfied with the quality. This is probably one of the best looking figures in the series.

character was in good shape and very detail. Nice collector's item if you getting into the "Assassins Creed" game series. I bought this for my younger kid, whom I guess is not that young any more, and he wasn't impressed by it. Silly me to think he would, ah? I even "gift wrap it", which is the part I really wanted to mention on this review and that is the packaging was all destroyed by the time it got delivered!. Even paid extra money for the gift wrapping!. Anyway, decided to keep "character" from game as he my son, says has a much younger kid, he know from friends in the neighborhood, that would really like to have. So, we are holding it for a xmas present for him.

Its about time someone started making some real pirate action figures such as these in the Assassins Creed series. These figures are highly detailed and just plain cool with the resemblance of the famous pirates we all read about. Black Bart is my top favorite along with Blackbeard. This one comes with a sword, a pistol and a musket. I bought this one as a collectible to put in a acrylic display case and soon will purchase Blackbeard next. Not really into the game itself but I like the idea and figures. Recommend these to anyone who likes the real pirates of the Carribbean.

The 1 Star rating is for the false advertising about the code for DLC. The code that was in the pack is not supported on next gen consoles i.e PS4, Xbox One. So I saw that some customers have received codes from Amazon CSR's in an atempt to recify the situation for the "Hidden Mystery Island" DLC but be aware that is the same content you might have received if you pre-ordered the game. I asked the CSR if they would see if any other DLC codes are available besides that one since I already have it and they said they will get back to me within 24-48 hours.The figure itself is nice and I am glad to have it, though I would not have bought it without the DLC.*UPDATE* After receiving a response from the CSR from Promotions & Marketing in regards to getting a different promotional DLC code to replace the one that game with the figure that's not available on next gen consoles. They gave me the exact same code that I received for preordering Assassin's Creed IV. Absolutely no help. Any the only thing they suggested was to just return the product. Thanks but no thanks Amazon.

I am sure this is a good product, the figure is well detailed and looks cool, but I bought these for the code to put into my assassin's creed game. However when I tried to use the code, it is ONLY GOOD FOR XBOX 360, PS3, and PC. NOT the Xbox One or PS4!!It doesn't explain that anywhere, I had to contact support to find out, here is a letter from them in regards to my question;"Hi ThommyGunn79,I apologize, but the McFarlane promotion codes will not be available for next-gen consoles. The teams involved tried to ensure they were able to get these codes available to players, but as many factors of both next-gen consoles were unknown, it is now concluded that this content will not available for the Xbox One and the PS4.Again - I apologize for the inconvenience and have submitted this ticket as a complaint on your behalf."So again, if you want them as collector items or toys, good figures, but the codes in the package will NOT work with Next GEN which was my hope.

The Action figure was nice, it had great detail. Sadly, the code that it came with didn't work and kept not working every time I tried to enter the code on my Xbox 360.

This is a very good action figure. Very good painted quality, astounding details on accessories, and brilliant articulation with soft-ish plastic for any pose-able stance. The hat of Black Bart is in itself removable as well, where you would discover his bandanna underneath. A very great addition to any Assassin's Creed fan of Pirate Fanatic collector to have. 10/10.
