Dreamgirl Women's Lace Intrigue Sexy Kimono Robe

It's an all-black silky robe with lace above the chest area extending up over the shoulders and down to the small of the back... sexy. Everything important is covered, but the lace just makes it Wow. I showed it to my husband on-line and he said GET IT. It arrived quickly, wrapped well and on a pretty black padded hanger. Like a typical robe it has the small inside tie ribbon and a wide outer ribbon through belt-loops at the sides to tie in front. The Dreamgirl Women's Lace Intrigue Robe is cut the same as my Victoria's Secrets O/S robe, but the Dreamgirl's belt is just a little bit shorter, making it harder to tie in a bow in front. Since the fabric is a quarter nylon (the lace), three-quarters polyester (the silky part of the robe), static cling can be a bit annoying. Personally I don't see any use for the thong that comes with it. I'm 5'10" with long-torso, so the belt ties more at the empire waist line and the bottom of the robe just barely covers the cheeks. Needless to say, husband couldn't be happier. I gave it 4 stars for the short belt and static cling, husband gives it 5+++ stars!

the way this is made is just weird..everything is perfect except for how much fabric they allowed in the front to be able to wrap around your body fully. so it looks like a long blouse..Just listen to those who says it run small; the ones who says it fits are either people who are really petite who can wear xs or s and purchased s by mere generic size availability or flat chested and slim.. bottom line is if you are a small but small/medium in tops because you have a 34c/32d or bigger, I recommend sizing up at least a medium if not a large. the only problem with that is the arm length and shoulder measurements are going to be different (logically assuming) so in order to compensate for your chest you're going to have a longer robe, looser shoulder room, an an awkward mid forearm robe. I'm 5'3" and the small's length is a almost a little too short. so my best idea

So yes the article of clothing is inexpensive so you would naturally expect the quality to be a bit less. However, I have gotten plenty of cheap clothing that have been better quality than this. I am keeping the piece because it was cheap and its more hassle to return it then just deal. But the fabric feels similar to super thin rainproof gear. It has a very rigid feel and movement to it, so it does't really wrap around the body like it should. I am pretty petite. 5'4" size B cup, and a 4 in dresses, and I got the smallest possible size but yet it still doesn't wrap around me very well. The design meaning the length, the cut out in back etc is super cute and a great idea, but the way it is made makes it so it doesn't wrap around you well and because of that there is a weird gap between the two adjoining pieces in front toward the bottom of the robe. The only way to fix it is if you make the top of the robe super loose which you can't do if you plan to wear nothing on top. So like I said I will keep it because it was super cheap and if I mess with it enough I can kinda make it work, but I would not recommend anyone purchase this article of clothing. It really is not worth it in the end.

I wanted something that was sexy and comfortable. (Hubby wanted me in a short robe.) This fit the bill. It was cheap, but not cheaply made. What other users said about the thong is spot on, didn't bother with it. The sash is also short. The satin feels great on my skin and the lace is decent. I usually wear medium, so I ordered medium, but it's HUGE on me! The robe is nice, with little peekaboo lace on the back end that runs all the way down and nice details on the shoulders. Unfortunately, because the medium fits- on me, more like a large or XL, I can't wear it at all. (The nice little lace details on the shoulders cover- or rather, don't cover my chest at all.) It's a nice robe, and the idea was exactly what I was looking for, but the difference in sizing was disappointing. Maybe if I re-order in the right size, it'll get four stars instead of 3.

Ok, I spotted this online while looking with my man and we both loved the way it looked so I got it to wear for him since his Bday was approaching. Well when I got it I was disappointed with the material and the way it felt, I tried it on anyway thinking things would get better but it didn't. The fabric had no softness to it and it was itchy. The belt was oddly placed close to the top of my stomach (or more so higher up than normal) so I took it out of the belt hoops to give it a more comfortable fit, the belt was also short with not a lot of extra to make a proper tie. The panties were cute but not needed so i didn't try them on. Overall, I just think that the model was wearing the original and I got a replica so he never got to see me in it. :(

This robe is beautiful! I love the areas of skin that are exposed, covered only by lace.I am 5’3” and 110 lb. the SMALL fits well. As stated by others, this robe just barely covers your cheeks (as shown in the stock photo), so don’t be surprised when you try it on / order with intentions of wearing when your mother-in-law in town!No, this robe is not the highest of quality, though reviewers who are only awarding 1 to 2 stars need to reminded that they paid less than $20 for this robe. If you want higher quality, go to a lingerie boutique and pay $50+ for a similar piece. Overall, it is a fun piece to wear.

I bought this robe primarily to get Amazon's free shipping, but I also think that it will be a nice sexy thing to wear for Valentines' day or an anniversary. Considering the low price that I paid for it, it's not a bad robe. Not particularly well made, but it'll do for a couple uses, at least, so long as it doesn't get damaged during removal ;). Anyway, it doesn't look like it will hold up very well with washing, so it will almost certainly need dry cleaned or hand washed. Like another buyer said, the belt is finished on the outside, so it looks a little weird, but I am considering attempting to fix that. The belt is not as short as some are saying. I ordered a small, and the robe doesn't want to stay closed in the front without constantly being adjusted. The lace does not seem itchy like other reviews said. There were some loose threads when I opened the package. Overall, it's not bad for the price, and I'm sure the boyfriend will love the look of it.
