Green Sprouts Baby Girls Brim Sun Protection Hat, White, 0-6 Months US

My daughter was 4 months old when I got this hat (about 3 months ago) to go on vacation in Guam. She wore this to the beach multiple times. Her growth percentiles are normally smaller to mid-range. Her head circumference is in the 40th percentile. She is 6 months now and the hat still fits perfectly, with room to grow. There is a little stretchy part that goes around her head and you can tie it to be tighter or let it out if your baby has a bigger head. She normally does not like to wear hats or sunglasses, but she kept this on the entire time we were at the beach. It keeps the sun out of her eyes because it droops ever so slightly and is made of a light cotton material, but will still hold up to multiple washes. The inner part is lined with mesh and I suppose it helps to add a layer of fabric yet still keep the baby cool. I would recommend this little hat to anyone, and I think it is a great value for what I paid and will hold up well for future use.

I love this hat, I purchased two for my daughter's, one aged 4 years, and the other 5 months old. I wanted them to have matching hats to protect them from sun exposure on a recent trip to a disney resort. They wrote them to the pool as well as in the parks and the bats worked great for both of them. It has an adjustable fit and was soft, flexible, and easy to put on. Additionally, I liked it for the infant because it was soft enough that she could layou down in it comfortably and still receive the benefits of the brim. I liked it for my 4 year old because it fit snugly once adjusted, and when it got wet at the pool, it quickly dried back out. A problem we'd had with other sum hats aso she'd play in the hat and get it wet, then it would stay wet fit the rest of the day, making it floppy and unusable. This hat avoided that issue completely. Would definitely purchase again.

I ordered this hat because of the reviews. I was a tad bit skeptical because of some of the sizing reviews. Once I got the sun hat I put it on my three month old who is in the 50th percentile for her headsize. It fit great! It was a little loose, but once I tied the straps under the chin it didn’t matter. It’s doing great and keeping her skin protected from the sun. I’ll most likely be buying another in a different color. Soft, beautiful, and works.

I ordered this hat for my then 3 month old for the beach, and it was not only adorable but it did its job, which was the most important part. I like the size that you can alter by tightening or loosening the drawstring around the head part of the hat. It also has a nice big brim that's sturdy and doesn't flop down. Kept my daughter protected and looking cute!

I bought this sun hat for my 3 month old and it fits nicely and should protect him from the sun. I will say that the brim is quite big. On one hand this is nice because it shields him from the sun (duh!), but on the other hand it sometimes gets in the way and I find that it easily gets knocked around or sometimes crumples up on him if he's in his stroller. As such, I'd recommend the i play flap hat instead of the brim hat. Nevertheless, I have used this hat as a little blanket for him when he's in his stroller though, and it is a nice way to protect his whole body from the sun. Lastly, I did think it looked a little girly for a boy, so if you're sensitive to that, I'd also recommend the i play brim hat instead.

I am surprised how great this hat is. It has an adjustable band around the head to grow with baby. It's brim is nice and wide all the way around and, though floppy, somewhat maliable. My daughter is a pale red head and I was really concerned about protecting her from the sun. She's average size. I've been using this since she was 2 months old and she's 6 1/2 months now and still fits it. She loves it and it's light weight, free of stains, washes well and dries fast. Awesome hat.

I must say I do love this hat!! It is so adorable and protects my baby from the sun! Only thing I do want to say is that if you have a small baby...mine is 3 months and is on the small side compared to other babies...it may fit a little big. The hat never fell off or into her face but there was a little extra room! It didn't bother us but I just wanted to point that out. Also, the adjustment clasp is in the back and can pose a problem when in the car seat or laying down, but for us, we used it when she was in her carrier or being held...we took it off when we put her back into her car seat. Overall I do give this product 5 stars because of the style, purpose, and that it grows with your baby! It works for us!!!

I bought this hat for my now 3 month old baby. She is 50th %ile height and weight so she's a really good model for the size. Some reviewers have said the strap on the back isn't adjustable...IT IS, you just have to try :) It fit her at about 6 weeks, but you could put it on a new born, it would just be a little big. With a small adjustment it fits really well now that she just turned 3 months old. The brim is very wide, but that's what's great about it. I like the tie because it's so adjustable, and unless you're going to be oblivious towards your baby it's not a safety hazard. The adjustable bead being on the back is a bit annoying but I never lay my baby down anyhow so it hasn't been a big problem for us.

I like it has big hat edge, I put my hand under the hat, I can more feel cool !

Lo compré para mi niño de dos meses y se ve muy bien. Le quedó grandecito pero no hubo problema porque se ajusta de la cabeza y se sujeta con desde si barbilla con las correitas. Los materiales son ligeros y frescos

A mi bebé de 5 meses no le entró muy bien, tal vez porque su cabeza este mas grande o porque le falta profundidad a esa parte del sombrero. Cumple su función, protege el rostro y cuello del bebé de los rayos solares.
