My old photocell is mounted in the soffit of the roof overhang and so does not get enough light to turn on until the day becomes quite bright. This TORK model allows aiming the photocell out towards the sky and now my lights turn on and off just exactly when I like them to - during dusk and dawn. I've had this installed for two months now and it is working perfectly with the 3 LED lights connected on my front porch.

I have installed many products that do the same job but the usually don’t detect light as well as this one. It has an excellent sensor, it is adjustable and easy to install. Little more pricy than the other cheaper brands. So far this has been used for 2 months. Would like to see how it works in a couple of years. Florida weather is not very kind to these photo sensors.

I installed the unit, which was simple. Verified proper function by covering sensor, and verified that the lights came on. That was about 9:00 AM. I checked it again later the same day, and it no longer worked. When it got dark outside the lights did not come on. This is the second NSi Industries/Tork sensor (different models) that I tried, and they both failed in less than a day. I just bought #3 from a different manufacturer, and I am cautiously optimistic.
