This situation is also true for most other micro-controllers such as the plethora of Arduino class machines. The MODBUS emulation is fully functional and I use it a lot. As this unit only supports hardwired Ethernet, POE support would also be a great improvement for this device. In summary, this is a decent core for data acquisition and small PLC-type control logic emulation. Review: crap - This piece of crap doesn't work, tried to connect it to mach3 to control a cnc, didn't work no matter how it was configured, i'm going back to ETHERNET SMOOTH STEPPER, pokeys sucks.
