I thought I was going to have everything that I needed when returning home after an open abdominal hysterectomy. However, I soon realized that my low toilet was going to be a major problem for my comfort. It caused me a lot of extra pain while trying to sit and stand, and once sitting I could never get comfortable. After a couple of days dealing with this issue, I finally thought to order a toilet riser. It arrived the next day and my husband said it was very easy to install. It has made such a positive difference for my bathroom visits. I really wish I would have had it as soon as I came home but I’m grateful that I at least have it now. It’s very secure and it makes life so much easier right now. If you have a low toilet and go through any type of surgery that will require you to use extremely painful muscles while sitting and standing, do not hesitate to get this. The price is great too!
