Having bought a second table with some reasonable bats I wondered if better ones would improve our game. The main problem was knowing nothing about tt bats and what to go for when buying.So the decision was based largely on price. Not too cheap, not too expensive.On arrival tho I could clearly tell the improved quality over the ones that came with the table. They feel solid and sturdy with noticeably thicker rubber. They are more fun to play with and the rubber means more spin.As others have mentioned, they really really stink. The rubber, glue or some other chemicals really does put the 'pong' in ping pong. It took a couple of weeks to wear off.

This is an amazing racket which I'm sure that any one will be impressed with. Although I am only a beginner, I loved this racket and the balls it came with. Compared to the other bats I have used, these rackets did feel quite heavy at first. You will quickly get used to this however, and I can confirm that this is not a problem. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Perfect, made a lot of use out of these, kept the children and adults entertained.

For the money you pay, you get a couple of really decent quality bats. The balls aren't great but I can live with that. I understand the previous reviews that complain about the artificial smell when they arrive but it's not that bad and wears off quick. One thing I'd say is that although they are spongey, the bats aren't the most responsive so if you're looking for power these may not be the bats for you. But then again if you're an experienced player you'd probably have something more expensive anyway.
