This quilt is light to medium weight and a solid color. I wanted a solid background for blankets and quilts to dress it up. It’s plenty big, long and wide, and washed great, no picks or fading, wrinkling, etc. This was a great purchase!

Exactly the right specific blue color. It’s thin cotton I use for a sofa cover. Bought these sofa inserts and it keeps it in place. I use the pillow covers on the sofa arms. I like thats its all cotton and not synthetic . It’s not soft and the texture is a little rough, as in not a cozy smooth feel is my only wish, but organic cotton would be 4-5x the price, so im good.

This quilt with its matching shams is lightweight and breathable fabric. I get too hot at night under most synthetic bedding, but this quilt feels like 100% cotton and breathes. If your room is really cold at night, you'll need an extra layer, but this one is pretty enough to go on top. It's generously made - hangs over the bed like an old fashioned bedspread - reaching almost to the floor on both sides. I've washed mine twice with almost no shrinkage or fading. Mine's the palassio blue, and I love it.

I would have given five stars on this quilt but when I finally got around to washing it as I do anything new, I found a tear on one of the shams. I hesitate but decided to keep it anyway because I really liked it and it is a good quality quilt. It hand been a returned item and not brand new when I purchased it, so I am assuming that that is where the damage occurred. I will ask for a little compensation for the tear.

Got it, washed it, dried it, and threw it on the bed. It is a gorgeously rich color (cross between a deep blue and gray). It feels fantastic, we are so pleased it is cotton, in a world of polyester and microfiber mixes. I would buy this again and again.
