still alive going strong, healthy
I didn’t take care of it very well, and it’s still going strong. Very low maintenance, beautiful, and a fountain and growing fast. It even survived very cold weather outside and stagnant water for a little while. The shipping took a little longer, but with live plants, I mean that’s to be expected I would think. Upon opening it, it looked like trash, just like dirt and roots, but once I set it in the water, it’s spread out. It was extremely healthy and it was bigger than the size that was advertised. As far as floating plants go this was the cheapest I found however, I still think it’s way too expensive for what you get, but maybe I’m not taking into account all the labor and care that it takes to master botany.

Didn't survive.
Never bloomed, regardless of where they were placed in pond, they died.

Very Nice! Just give them time.
I know that some reviews complain about how the plants arrive. But just give them some time. They have to be sealed to keep them damp. No water plant likes being shipped. Mine were a little pitiful looking when they arrived as well. But just give them time. I plopped mine into my little fish pond immediately after receiving. They are bouncing back nicely! Now all green, and one has even started blooming. Just be patient, and let them acclimate. Takes a week or so for them to bounce back. You’ll be pleased. I will buy from this company again. UPDATE: they are doing Very well! I bought 5 little plants, and they’ve almost doubled. They have grown and separated, I couldn’t be more pleased. Please excuse the mess in the picture, this pond gets full sun all day and algae has been a bit of a problem. I ordered the imitation lily pads to add more shade (also an Amazon find) and they have helped a lot. My goldfish were in dire need of shade. These water hyacinths are great, I would definitely buy them again. They are growing well!

Good, strong, healthy plants. Multiply quickly.
This is the second time I've ordered from this supplier. Both times the plants have been healthy. I unfortunately let my hyacinth freeze last year so I reordered. I ordered from another supplier and the plant never arrived, so I searched my last year's order for this same supplier. The plants came today and appear very healthy and in great condition. I know from last year how quickly they'll multiply. The blooms are striking.

Beautiful, but open carefully!
Mine arrived in excellent shape. It’s perfect for what I wanted. However, two plants came in the same bag- which isnt an issue except when I separated them, I accidentally broke off the root wad of these plants. So just be extra careful opening them. I suspect it will die due to my error, but the plant arrived beautiful and currently still looks great. My project is a small small porch water garden. Update! It’s making other plants!

Finally flowered
They multiplied like crazy but never flowered for me. Perhaps our little pond area was not sunny enough for them. UPDATE: well, here it is the last day of September and one of my plants finally flowered! Had to update my previous review
