Iron it on by warming up the preferred spot on your clothing material, place the patch on the newly warmed spot (make sure it's alligned nicely), iron on in nice even circles for 30 seconds at a time and readjusting often. By experience it works best with the iron directly on the patch, but it is reccomended that you place a cotton sheet in between the iron and the patch to not burn or discolor the patch. After ironing, let it cool for about 30-90 seconds before trying on the new article of clothing you've made. Finally, if the ironed patch doesn't stay on after a few washes, or even after ironing it initially, I would highly recommend sewing it into the material and not attempt to reiron it, since the glue may not be the best. What are the dimensions of the patch? The description says 3" but the product dimensions listed say 5.5 x 4.5 x 0.4 inches.
