Great if you know what you're doing.
I see a lot of bad reviews about this product not working, I can guarantee this is because of the stock SD card that comes with the device. If you decide to buy this device PLEASE NOTE that you will have to buy your own higher quality SD card, format the card and flash the newest Garlic OS system onto it, you'll also have to find your own roms & bios files, which is easily done if you know what you are doing, don't buy this device unless you know this. There are great tutorials online that you can follow to format and flash your new SD card, find roms & bios etc, however if you dont have a pc/laptop and the required knowledge to use the tech, then don't buy this device, the SD card that comes with the device will 100% break and your device will not work.

Disappointing
Nice box. Looks good. Turn it on and you don’t move past the logo. Most exciting part of when it flashes on and off. Tried removing battery. Reloading SD card. Reviews say to get new SD card but surely spending £80 off quid on it you shouldn’t then have to buy a new SD card for the thing to work.Such a shame. Total waste of money and time.

My god what an amazing device
There are so many games on this thing. It’s crazy!I think I spent the first hour just cycling through all the games. Telling my daughter how great each one was. Don’t actually play on it for ages. This thing is just amazing. Really made me smile just playing some of those games. And the fact that you can also upload new games onto it is just a massive bonus. If you love retro gaming. Then get this. You will not be disappointed.

The problem is the Micro SD Card! Hear me out!
The problem isn't the actual device, it's the cheap non-branded Micro SD Card that comes with the console! I want to make it clear that the company should still fix this problem, even if they put the price up by £5 in exchange of a genuine branded SD Card that's a russian roulette with every purchase.Thankfully the SD Card still has a worth! Because if you have an SD Card Reader it's full of fantastic ROMs you can back up on your PC and you can add your own even if you know how too! Basically just need get a genuine quality branded Micro SD Card and put Garlic OS on it. It's not a quick job, but thanks to help I've not got a fantastic working little device! This is why it's a massive shame because for £69,99 the build quality is fantastic and games run flawlessy on it, but that one silly little cost cutting Micro SD Card is what's ruining it for so many people! I wanted do this review because I can see some people are understandably returning, but some people with the know how can fix it easily and keep this great little device! Hopefully Anbernic listen!

Replaying all of the games from my childhood
This is a great little emulation device. The performance, even on PS1 games is surprisingly good. The battery life is great, maybe 5 hours depending on the games that you are playing. There are an overwhelming number of included games. Some of the ones that you may expect to see, or desire to have, may not be included out of the box, so you may need to locate those online (I found a good post on reddit with links to download additional titles). The carry case is decent and offers good protection. A screen protector is also included. The build quality of the device feels good too. It is quite light, so they could probably have put a slightly bigger battery into it to add more battery life and extra weight to it. Overall, it has been a great little device and I have been nostalgic playing the games from my childhood.Mini HDMI on the top allows you to connect it to an HDTV and play on the TV. You can connect an external controller to the USB-C port on the bottom of the device as well, but I just used the buttons on the device itself. Definitely recommended to fans of retro gaming.

Absolute rubbish
Rubbish!! Straight out the box the battery is on 0% and i am struggling to get it to charge up and then when i finally manage to get it started i get an "anerbic" logo then the screen goes black and stays black but still on...save your time and money and dont buy this junk!

It is very good
*updated review after three days use*Build wise, it's excellent. I tested the TV out up using my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 lead to check and it all works very well on a 1080p tv.If the lead was long enough you can use it as a console say if you are stuck somewhere like a hotel and it's a nice welcoming feature to have, especially on a budget device.Has 2 micro SD card slots mine came with just the 64gb card but I think it's been updated to run RetroArch with more emulators added like Sega CD and Dreamcast. It's very good as it is but you may tinker with it and add more games to it if you want to create a bigger card for yourself. There's more than enough on it to get you busy for a long time anyway.I strongly suggest making a backup of the card to a hard drive so you can get it working if anything goes wrong with the card. You really need to do this to avoid buying a replacement.Overall, I'm really impressed with it 😁

Very very over priced
I later found out this was very very priced but it’s work great: very very easy to use. Game emulation speed is good.
