Review It s hard to critique pinku films by the same standards used for more typical features for a few reasons. In addition to the implicit budgetary restrictions, pinku movies only have an average sixty-minute run-time. And by their very nature the main focus of the film has to be sex. But for every twenty generic flesh romps, there seems to be one or two releases that entertain more than just the libido. My favorite remains S&M Hunter for it s completely over-the-top shenanigans and black humor, but a few others have entertained as well with strong doses of comedy to go along with the skin slapping. Pink Eiga s two Groper Train releases are both very funny and perverted as is The Japanese Wife Next Door. The label has just released two more titles this month, and one of them is a keeper. Funny and sexy and highly recommended for fans of Asian erotica, science fiction, and non-explicit come shots. The plot really is that simple... and awesome. The movie opens with Waturu on the run from some loan sharks and fearful of an impending comet strike. The oil riggers are apparently all busy trying to clean up BP s spill so no one s available to fly into space and detonate the hurtling rock. So the next best plan is to use this sexual psycho-kinetic business to physically alter the comet s trajectory. Science fiction? Perhaps, but it shouldn t be dismissed without further testing. Lots of sex ensues, and I do mean a lot. Pinku s standard of a sex scene every eight minutes or so is doubled here, and happily the sex is actually sexy. That s something you can t just assume with these films because many pinku movies are content to feature angry or painful sex meant to degrade the ladies. And that just doesn t fly with this Asian fetishist. Laughs and sex aside, the movie is actually pretty good in other unexpected areas as well. The acting is decent enough aside from the supporting actors playing it for obvious camp, and the character of Ikuko has a bit more depth than you d usually find. There s also more emotional weight than can typically be found in these films as the relationship between Waturu and Ikuru builds into something approaching believability. None of this will be mistaken for the drama of a more traditional film obviously, but it s always nice to find the pinku films that accept their limitations and then run with them towards something original and interesting. Pink Eiga s new DVD includes a commentary, interview, artwork, and more. My favorite extra is the video commentary featuring the film s director (Yukio Kitazawa), screenwriter (Akira Fukuhara), and two of it s stars (Motoko Sasaki and Seiji Nakamitsu). The screen splits and the foursome sit together on the bottom half while the movie plays above. They reel off some fun anecdotes, tell stories about the film and others in the cast, crack jokes about budget issues and stunning CGI-less special effects, and share exchanges like this... Hey, you guys missed the pubic hair shot. Was it legal at the time? Yes, barely. There are some silences with the group awkwardly watching sex scenes starring the actress who s there for the commentary, but most of the time their faces are filled with smiles and an honest admiration for their work. Watching this is just as entertaining as the movie itself, and I hope it becomes a staple on future Pink Eiga releases. Besides, where else are you going to learn the definition of a Pink Salon? (And can someone get me a gift card for one?) Not That Deep, But Lots Of Contact...
As I've stated before in several of my reviews, one need adjust the yardstick considerably when evaluating exploitation and soft-core movies, otherwise almost none would make the grade. Pink Eiga has been busy lately releasing erotica that appears new / recent, but in actuality most of the flicks are from the 80's and 90's, just so you're aware. We waste no time entering the erogenous zone here - within moments of the title credits, our protagonist is abducted off the streets, brought to a hospital and briefly examined before the nurses begin undressing and our hero is assisted in 'donating sperm' for testing and then informed he will not be allowed to leave the premises. (As an afterthought, I wondered - why would he want to?). He's there as part of an experiment whether he likes it or not.The bad news is this - a comet is coming and will collide with Earth in the very near future, and so society is in the process of falling apart, knowing our fatality is dangling ahead.The good news is this - Sexual Psychokinesis will save us all, assuming we learn to harness it and utilize it at a predetermined time. So the men practice like jackrabbits with the assistance of nubile nurses for the sake of mankind - it does a heart good to see folks giving something back so unselfishly. Forget about recycling, folks, a brighter future for humanity waits in a more cost-effective and enjoyable way.Those collected at this hospital are sexual mutants and they can do things like levitate half-ton spheres when they climax, so the good doctor in charge is of the mindset that if he gets a full-blown (pardon the pun) group-grope going at the right time and everyone shares a collective 'Happy Ending', they will veer the comet off course and save the planet. Our hero is assigned a pretty nurse as a partner, and her lack of experience makes her a particle-accelerating dynamo in the field of sexual synergy.Will this frenzied, flesh-filled formula for a fertile future avail, or will we be demolished by the coming comet? Well, that's all you get from me in this cliffhanger review; if you're still interested you'll have to find out for yourself. As far as the exploitative aspects are concerned (`sorry to make you wait), several of the women are quite attractive (though not all as stated by other reviewers), there are a good amount of sexual scenarios that are enjoyable and voyeuristic, and no mosaics (thankfully). Probably a 3 ½ star flick for the jaded like me, 4 stars for those who are not as numb... 'sorry gents, but I'm not seeing anything worth 5 stars here. Nor do I find it as humorous as most of the reviewers. But that's what makes the world go 'round, doesn't it? At least until the next time a comet comes our way...

This movie is really old. Riri Kuramoto did not perform a good sex scene in this movie.The short hair nurse has nice body......

Do not fall for it, half the movie is missing
I was not paying attention and only after paying did I realize that this is only 30 minutes long. There is no nudity, one scene is censored, the rest are actually cut from the movie. Tell me what is the point of a movie about sexual psycho-kinetics if there Is no nudity or sex in it. It might have been enjoyable if it was not cut. If you do not want to show it do not offer it. I checked IMDB and found this is a one hour movie.

Hilarious, screwball, sci-fi, very sexy, japanese comedy
A comet is hurtling to the earth and will destroy it. Meanwhile, a young man is captured by two men and taken off while he screams he will pay the money back. He tried to rip off the Yakuza! He's taken to a hospital, but not just any hospital. The people there are experimenting with Sexual Psychokineses ???? One young woman in the hospital can raise a two thousand pound metal ball when aroused and the people there and at other hospitals around the world are practicing their sexual powers so that at a certain time everyone will have sex at the same time and the psychokinetic energy they release will deflect the comet's orbit!? Naturally the young man and the young woman are attracted to each other. Of course the plot allows for several scenes to be shown of the participants practicing for the upcoming event. The movie is very funny, well acted and there is a serious emotional twist at the end that raises this movie above just being a really good screwball comedy. There are allot of extras on the disk, including a feature length commentary by the director,the producer, the actor who plays the mad scientist and the actress who plays the head nurse. While older than the actresses in the movie she was and still is a knockout.Most of these pink films were made made in three or four days but really don't show it - or rather the better ones don't. The quality of the acting is also surprisingly very good and the Japanese actresses are beautiful as well as talented. Very recommended.

Forget it.
If your looking for something that is interesting and titillating, forget it. I rate this at PG-13. Tits and just a little bit of ass. The acting is worse than 50's era Godzilla movies. 15 minutes into the video I realized my mistake but I watched the entire thing as a punishment. It now rests in the local landfill.

Ohhh I was shocked, and, couldn't shut my mouth watching it!!They have sex to save the earth with Sex Psychokinesis??? What a stupid... but seriously, it's so funny described in the movie.It's worth to try!!!By the way, I would love to join to that research group, and destroy the comet with my sex magical power!!!
