I had high hopes for this baby balance bike. Right out of the box, assembly was a breeze—no tools required, and it was ready to go in just a couple of minutes. That’s definitely a plus, especially for busy parents or grandparents. The design is cute and the concept is great for helping toddlers build balance and coordination in a fun way.However, the excitement was short-lived. Within the first five minutes of use, my 18-month-old grandson managed to break the front axle. He wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary—just riding it around the living room like any toddler would. Unfortunately, the part that holds the front axle in place is made of very thin plastic, and it couldn’t handle a minor bump into a chair leg. The material cracked instantly, rendering the bike unusable.To make matters worse, the decorative plastic cover that fits over the broken area is purely cosmetic. It doesn't add any strength or stability to the structure and certainly doesn’t help once the main piece is compromised. It felt more like a toy meant for display than something made for actual toddler use.This could be a fantastic little bike if the structural materials were improved. Right now, the quality just doesn’t hold up to real-world toddler play. For the price, I expected something that could at least survive more than a few minutes of gentle indoor riding.In short, while the ease of setup and the idea behind it are great, the poor durability makes this hard to recommend—especially for active toddlers who are bound to bump into things.UPDATE: The seller reached out and promptly replaced the item with a new one. While the product itself hasn’t changed, the replacement gave my grandson the chance to actually try it out—and he really enjoys it! We’ll see how long this one holds up, but so far, it’s been great.
