Price is right, and it works on colors that are lighter than the color you want to cover
I loved this. I used it to color, a cherry red wig into a burgundy color. However, I made a mistake, and I followed the directions to comb the color into the wig. If you’re working with your own hair, that’s fine. But never ever do that to a wig because now I have a wig with a lot of breakage that I probably can’t use, even though it’s a gorgeous color. It was very easy to put on and take off. I would buy it again in a different color if I needed a temporary hair color fix for sure. The price is right, and it works. Of course, don’t be thinking that you’re going to use this on black or super dark hair and come out with burgundy hair. That it will not work because this is a temporary hair color. For that, you need a permanent hair color that will strip your natural color before it deposits a different color.

I love the color, the fact it's temporary, and I can put in steaks or color all my hair!!

Good but not transfer resistant
I love this product so far. But a few issues. You definitely are not getting a lot for your money. The bottle is tiny. My other issue is that when you apply it, it transfers like crazy. However, I have textured hair, but not crazy curly. Hair wax is nice, but not that great and chalk isn’t super colorful on me. This product actually works for my hair type and hair color. It is a great choice for a temporary color. It DOES leave a residue if you are wondering. It leaves a little texture to your hair, but it is not bad at all. If you have tried hair wax, it is nothing like that. It reminds me more of a hair mousse. Also, I have hair that is dark brown with no blonde in it whatsoever and, as you can see in my pictures, it shows up nicely. Use a generous amount. But it absolutely will show up on dark hair if you get the raspberry color like me. Overall, I would, and will, use this product again. But I took off a star for transfer and one for the tiny bottle. I am glad it was cheap. Also! It ships REALLY quick! I got it within the weak with free shipping!

Nice temporary option
I have medium/dark brown hair and the purple definitely shows up. It's not as bright as the picture, but you can see the tint of color in my hair. I used the suggested amount described in the directions, but reapplied 2-3 times on the sections of hair I was coloring. It washes off of your hands, sink, and brushes very easily. It does change the texture of your hair, so don't expect to be able to easily brush your hair or run your fingers through it. The color sticks around for a while and does not bleed onto clothes after it's dried, which is nice because then I can wait a few days before washing my hair.

Comes right out - it ALL CHIPS OFF when I comb it
I have long wanted to try a non-natural color in my hair such as a blue streak, but at 54 I did not want to be stuck with anything, so this product seemed ideal to try. A friend of mine was looking for something similar for his dark hair, so I tested it specifically on a part of my hair that had no grays yet. I was quite confused by the description and directions, since it said no gloves necessary but also said no contact with skin; I used gloves. I followed the directions and started with applying a dime-sized amount to a strand of dark hair. When that did not show, I added the same amount again. Still no luck, or perhaps I could see the barest glint when the light hit it just right. I wanted it brighter, much more like the color in the tube and on the braids of a couple of the hair models, so I glopped a bunch more on and worked it through my hair. At this point it did show, although still not as much as I would have liked, so I pinned it so it would not touch my clothing and let it dry. Once dry the hair was stiff and matted, so I combed it to separate it and make it softer again - AND ALL THE COLOR CHIPPED RIGHT OUT ONTO THE COMB AND THE HAIRS THAT WERE PULLED OUT BECAUSE THE HAIR MAKEUP WAS SO STIFF AND STICKY! There was no color that I could see left on my head, although there might be just a little there because that hair still feels somewhat stiff. Apparently this only works when you have your hair styled in such a way that you do not need to comb it once the color is applied, which I never do. It might work for my friend though, as I don't know if he would comb his beard to get rid of the stiffness.

Perfect for me, but probably not what you’re looking for.
I used this on a wig, it’s for my Halloween costume. I’m dressing as the Met Gala version of Beetlejuice so this color was exactly what I needed. It’s pretty ugly and not bright enough to be very noticeable on any hair that isn’t super light, so I would not recommend it if you’re looking for a fun/cute color. It was easy to use. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell, but it wasn’t horrible. The bottle is also pretty small, I used the whole thing just on the tips of this wig. Giving 5 stars because it happens to be a great fit for me, but probably not a 5 star option for anyone not using it for a Beetlejuice costume.

Didn't color very good...
The hair color arrived in a very small box - 1 oz - but seemed like there would be enough to do the job. However, once I applied the color to my hair, it pretty much soaked into my hair not leaving much trace of the green shade I was hoping to achieve. The color solution was a little watery, not as thick as paint, but went on relatively easy, but also left the ends pretty stiff. Once it dried, you could see a TINY hint of the green highlights but... not impressive. My hair is brunette, but more on the red side, although the photo of the model on the front of the box has jet black hair - so... maybe it would work if your hair is black? But I couldn't imagine that it would.
