What are the round, small pellets, dark brown or black in the food? There is no smell but my dog won't eat them. I have used this food for 3 days.

I think they are blue berry's some times my dog leaves them out but she doesn't like real blue berry's either

is the healthy weight formula for dogs that are slightly overweight? my dog has put on a couple pounds the last few months.

Yes it helps their weight a lot. It is also great for dogs with sensitive tummies. My little girls love it and are doing great on this food.

What are the kcals on the Healthy weight turkey and potato?

I have 3 dogs (2 French bulldogs and a 60lb Mutt (pitbull/Rhodesian ridgeback). One of Frenchies has severe allergies so I avoid chicken & turkey foods. I feed them Basics Salmon & potatoe (366 kcal/cup) and Basics Lamb & potatoe (330 kcals/cup). Because they are all spoiled, I do mix in a tiny bit of the moist food to the dry. Be sure to transition the new food gradually. They love these flavors and it's easier to digest!
