Measurements in picture is different from description. Which do I go by?

Pictures and it's not exactly the poles lean out the back and you can always attach it further forward on t top

Does this top have some sort of pole or tube across the front ? My Key West 239's T-top is 5 ft wide, but the tubular frame is only 32 in. wide .

It has an adjustable strap on each front corner. So order width accordingly or will be sagging in the middle if not fully stretched

My t top is 4ft wide can I get the 5ft wide by 4 ft long and turn it so it's 4 ft wide x 5 ft long

NO, this is a directional unit. The adjustable straps are on the front of the canvas. Those straps will mount to your top.
