light shoe well made right for me

I bought these to use in the garden as they were nice and cheap at £7.99. I also have a problem with swollen feet so bought a size UK 12, one size larger than normal. They arrived, I tried them on, and although comfortable the tongue rubbed against my shin, as did the raised back loop portion on my rear ankle. To remedy this I folded over and glued the tongue over by about half and inch and similarly with the raised loop part at the back of the ankle. Now they are possibly the most comfortable shoes I have, particularly with bare feet, as the material is so soft and compliant (and thin). Excellent for the garden and outside DIY work. I have just bought another pair, and will do the same alterations, but will use them for walking to the shops or along the canal etc (but not for hiking). So exceeded expectations for my purposes and definitely value-for-money., particularly in this age of over-priced walking shoes. I have not rated the shoes a 5 because I felt the tongue and raised loop portion were a bit too long. The photo shows my folded and glued 'modifications'...

These shoes are very comfortable, but was advised to get a size 12 by amazon, which is my usual size ,but, found the shoes to be too loose fitting,would probably go for a size 11 next time

Comfortable fit and easy to put on. Happy withe the item. But Yodel driver left box on wall near my gate. Any passer by could have Snatched it!

Great comfortable fit.

Firstly, you're getting what you pay for. When buying these, you're not getting luxury footwear. You're getting some that's cheap and convenient. However, they are very comfortable and your feet will feel comfortable inside them. These are not waterproof. The sole may be comfortable and quite sturdy, but the shoe itself is basically fabric which does allow for your feet to breathe. I ordered a size 12 which is my usual size, however they don't quite wrap around my feet comfortably and feel just a little loose, particularly around the ankle and width of my feet. I would advise perhaps ordering half a size smaller than you're normally used to for a more comfortable grip around your feet.

Many people have mentioned the sizing of this product and that is the reason it has one star. I do not understand that a measurement in one country should be the same everywhere else in the world except in this case I am a size 8 I ordered size 8 my friend is a size 10 and he could fit comfortably into these shoes how can you screw things up like this so badly a measurement is a measurement you cannot cheat maths. The product itself is very comfortable and would be well worth the money if they can sort out the size problem it is just so inaccurate it is a shame because it is a very good quality item I would have definitely bought these again I may try it again and by a size 6 it is a shame because it is a lovely comfortable shoe ruined by stupidity
