French Toast School Uniform Girls Pleated Scooter with Grosgrain Ribbon

This is the perfect uniform skirt for teen girls ! I ordered a size 14 for my daughter who is 5 foot 3 inches and what some people might call a "string bean." She doesn't fit well into juniors sized clothing because if the waist is small enough for her the length is typically way too short. Because Amazon returns are so simple, I decided to take a chance in ordering the larger size, figuring we could always return it if needed. I was unsure when I ordered it if it had an adjustable waist, it seemed unclear to me in the product listing. It does have an adjustable waist ! Even with the ability to make the waist smaller it still wasn't small enough for my daughter. We just pinched a little extra at each side and tacked it with a few simple hand stitches and it fits and looks great. She loves the comfort and security of the built in scooter shorts She even said that she will continue to wear it next year when she attends a school that has no uniform requirement. The navy blue is a very nice dark navy and the skirt is well made. My daughter ( 14 years old ) and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality skirt, with built in modesty and a wonderfully affordable price.

Seems great so far, haven't had my daughter try it on yet but it does adjust inside and is not pleated all the way around. It's for a costume so we'll make it work. The length falls about the knee. In my daughter's case she measured 28 waist so I ordered the 14, but I should have ordered the 10/12.

It looks very nice and fits as expected. My daughter prefers uniform scooters made from completely stretchy fabric, so she doesn't choose to wear this one -- she is VERY athletic. But I think it's very attractive and well-made with the stretchy, breathable shorts inside a light-weight Chino pleated skirt... perfect for a warm climate like ours (Texas). The ribbon detail is a lovely touch and they come out of the wash and dryer looking great; ready to impress. I believe other young girls would be very pleased with it.

Way to large. My daughter is a solid 16, so we ordered the 18 based on recommendations, but will ty to exchange for a 14. Otherwise t is very nice and perfect for what we need. Give yourself time to exchange for the right sizing.

I also bought French Toast Uniforms Girls' Scooter Skort (Navy 12) which is 100% polyster, and better quality.This "Pleated Scooter with Grosgrain Ribbon - navy, 12 ..." is 60% cotton 40% polyster, so it may be more comfortable, but the material is a little thinner, and tend to wrinkle. Overall, still a good product at a good price.

French Toast never disappoints. Have been buying this brand for over 30 years for kids and grands. This is the only item I'd give 4 stars instead of 5.

Great skirt/shirts combo. My 9 year old third grader is average size and the size 8 was too large by about 2 inches of fabric in the waist. Keeping it for her to grow into and ordering a size 7

unfortunately, i had to return mine cause the size was too large. BUT! with that being said, i will probably buy from them again in the future. The dress material is good quality and I loved the design! It's definitely worth the amount of what you're paying! It's just i bought a size too big...
