However, this product is greatly misrepresented in the product description. Both in photos and the description in its entirety.First and foremost, there are no mechanical brakes on this go kart. It is advertised as a go kart that has disc brakes. It says it in the description and it also shows it in a photo. It shows a drilled rotor as the description. To Be very clear there are no brakes on this go kart. I did a thorough inspection of every square inch of this go kart inside and out underneath and there are no brakes. The brake pedal on this is simply used as a function for telling to go kart to go in reverse. There is no mechanical cable coming off of the brake pedal. It is simply a wire that tells the engine engines to go in reverse. This is a serious safety hazard as this go kart does reach an advertised top speed within an acceptable margin. Again, I wanna reiterate, there are no breaks! I don’t know how Amazon allows it to be sold like this. I’m not sure how they can sell it like this on Amazon being that Amazon is supposed to be a reputable company that vets their products especially those that are prime. That’s at least my thought process or expectation. The tires have also worn significantly in the month that we’ve had this. The rear tire has already popped and has completely disintegrated. The others are well on their way to that same conclusion .There are some overall quality issues for an item that cost well over $2000. I’m not even sure where to go for parts because the packet that it comes with does not provide a whole lot of support. If I were to do this again, I would go with a different More known brand-name. At this point it’s not worth it at all.
