Pros -Actual canvas -Actual rubber outsole -Soft rubber outsole provides cushioning -Wide toe box -Actual pull tab. Not decorative Cons -Pull tab put on weakly. 1 ripped off already. Just stitched on outside, not a box and X stitch. -Insole is smaller than the actual internal shoe dimension. I guess it'll flatten out over time? -Outsole slippery. Need to work in to gain traction. -Stupid label on shoe tongue. "Born in the U.S.A. Proven on battlefields of Europe 1916-1918"? After the pull tab ripping off, I hope not. -Shoe lace provided is too long. Notes to buyer: Not waterproof. Not really a con if you're into your own water proofing. That being said, spray on waterproofing before wear. Canvas is not quick dry. Notes to seller: For your next batch, move the sizing tag to the tongue. The battlefield tag is cringe. EDIT: After wearing these for about a month, I have some feedback. Most noticeable is how uncomfortable the back of the boot is because the top of the heel cuts into my leg. This only occurred on one of the boots and that was the one without the broken pull tab. The remaining pull tab was half off so I removed it completely and it allowed the boot to more freely bend which reduced the pain. Looks like there is too much material there to allow comfortable bending. Next, I removed the the side badges because they all impeded folding of the high top which caused pain itself. The placement of the size sticker also ripped off over time. For the next batch, this is what needs to be done to make the boot more comfortable and probably lower the cost: 1. Move the finger hoop higher and change stitch style. Or change from finger hoop to a slimmer pull tab. Or since stitching is inadequate, remove it altogether and rely on pulling the sides. Either way the current design prevents the heel from comfortably bending in. 2. The back of the high top need to have more of outward lip. Currently it faces a bit inward and digs into the back of the leg. Ow. 3. Remove the side logo circles. They do nothing but get in the way of the high top folding. You already have your logo on the tongue, inward sole and the heel of the sole. Save yourself some money and not copy other brands. 4. Move the sizing sticker to the back of the tongue where it won't get peeled off so easily. You can even print your silly motto on it and save yourself from purchasing a whole other set of stickers. So far the canvas has been great and the rubber sole useful.

Fits true to size well made but needs more padding in soles

As a 40+ year Palladium wearer I was at first slow to order "Farm Blue " replacements. I went ahead and ordered a set when my oldest set of Palladiums just got too bad. I have been pleasantly shocked. First, they run larger. You can wear hiking socks with them. The "foot box" allows more toe movement and seems to breathe better. The laces are a good bit longer so a wrap at boot top is almost a necessity. But that is better than the alternative short laces that have come on my Palladiums lately. The provided insole is more comfortable and amazingly, these folks finally remembered what the loop on the back of the boot is for!! This one is large enough to get your finger into and pull on the boot. The last three or four sets of Palladiums had a loop so tiny that it was practically worthless. I would recommend you spray them with a water-resistant spray early. Like Palladiums, they practically soak up rain and dew on the grass. I will be spraying mine today. And my biggest criticism of Palladiums for years has been how slick they are when crossing wet stones in a creek or on wet decking... The Farm Blue tread feels softer under foot and seems to grip wet things better. I give them a big thumbs up and hope they can last as long as my oldest Palladiums which I have used for dirty work for over 20 years.

I like everything about these Boots. Got them in Green, Size 12. Usually wear Size 11.5 or 12, mostly 12 and still room for thick socks. Fit well with thin socks also. Had them in for about a couple weeks now, beating them up, long days at work, outside and been Cold (14-35 Degrees Fahrenheit). They aren’t insulated and I’ve had on thinner socks, feet only get cold when I’m not moving. The don’t make feet sweat when extra active so they must breath well. Not made for cold temps but will work, not insulated. Only waterproof to about the bottom lace if you spray them maybe more?? No problems, not falling apart, feet don’t hurt, look good, zero complaints after 12-14 Days of 14-20hr Days and on my feet whole time. Company is very Helpful as well. Had an issue on website where I couldn’t pick Size and an Individual at Company went above and beyond to assist with the issue that wasn’t really his fault. I’d give the Boots and Vender Selling them more Stars if I could. Pretty much a Perfect 10. Highly Suggest. Enjoy.

These. are a decent value, and quite comfortable. They are not hiking boots, but I do wear them around my property and they work well on varied terrain. not waterproof obviously. Update: 4 to 1 star. Significant defect after limited use. Stitching is coming apart on both boots. This isn’t because they are hard to put on, my 11s are actually a bit large so they slide right on. See photo. Also, they brag about having half sizes but the 10.5s, my preferred size, has been out of stock for years. Disappointing.
