PRIMUS-3000A Primus 1-Channel, 250w X 1 Subwoofer Amplifier

I am running this amp at 2 ohm to a dual voice coil 8 inch sub (replacing toyota 4runner JBL OEM subwoofer/amp) and it does what it says! At first had problems with it going into power protection when turned up, but found out I accidentally wired the sub to 8ohm not 2ohm. Once fixed it pushes clean powerful sound at the rated wattage. Also came to find out this is actually made by the high end Harmon brand, Harman Kardon is a division of US-based Harman International Industries, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. So this is a quality made unit. Does not get hot mounted under the passager seat and ran cool on my last 4hr road trip. Highly reccomend for this wattage. For higher power (500w rms) look at MTX or Rockford fosgate for only a little more money.

This amp exceeded my expectations! I was just looking for a cheap amp to power an old JL 12W6v2-D4 I had sitting in my garage. My plan was to install an amp small enough to hide under the trunk floor to add bass to my stock head unit so I purchased a high-output line converter only to realize that this amp has that feature built in! It was great to skip a step without having to run extra RCA wires. My subwoofer is rated to handle 600 RMS @ 2 ohms so I was a little worried that this would under power it but it ended up to be just right. The combo actually still hits very hard and clean without overbearing the stock speakers. I'm glad I went with this amp plus it was very affordable to get some extra bass on the cheap.

Wouldn't stay powered on. Thought it could not be getting enough voltage from the electrical system in the vehicle, so I added a capacitor. Amp still failed to stay powered up. To make sure it wasn't the wiring I tried another amplifier and it worked as it was supposed to.

This is not an PSL competition amp but it is AMAZING. it’s clean, compact and is perfect to add to a stock factory system. The controls let you adjust phase and boost where the factory radio cuts off the bass.

Exactly what I needed for my infinity reference sub. I recently replaced all 4 door speakers in my 2005 Honda CR-V with infinity reference 6.5” speakers and added a 10” reference sub in a sealed box. Tried to keep infinity motif with this amp and it’s perfect for the soundstage in my small SUV. Turning the gain to 1/2 now that break in time is over and the thump is great especially for rock. I have an Alpine aftermarket deck and small 4 channel Kenwood amp for the door speakers. At half volume it sounds like my surround sound in my living room but at 3/4 volume it’s like front row center at a Motley Crue concert. I would recommend

Me gustó el ampli lo puedes ajustar a tus preferencias ,muy pocos que tengan buena fidelidad y un precio justo ablando de marcas reconocidas pero lo recomiendo para algo sencillo pero de calidad

De lo mejorcito que he escuchado por este precio, uso el bajo OEM Rockford Fosgate que traía mi Lancer ya que me parece un buen bajo de una buena marca, antes lo tenía conectado a un Hifonics y la calidad el bajo no era buena, se escuchaba como un efecto húmedo algo parecido como eco pero en el bajo y se escuchaba horrible, este infinity da una calidad de bajos muy buena sin distorciones, no esperaba menos de una marca de Harman

es de tamano relativamente compacto, se siente de buena calidad y construcción, se siente solido, trae buenos ajustes para poderlo personalizar, lo recomiendo ampliamente, mucha diferencia al usar marcas de prestigio, la potencia es mas que suficiente para una instalación moderada
