Seems to be a good quality, no rusting pitting or any issues yet. For an XL it seems small on my boat.

Good product better quality than I expected. Clean and prep your surface before putting it on obviously. But make sure you get it in the right spot first try because if you don’t good luck. That adhesive does not play around.

I was a bit skeptical about getting this due to the bad reviews. I read the directions to a "T" and it came out perfect. It's easy to manipulate the shape to the boat. Just take your time and over bend the shape so there won't be a chance of it popping off. It will "remember" the shape you installed it. So over bending is important. I installed it at our boat ramp so I could float the boat away from the install area. If you do it right it will work.

I chose this one over the gator shield because it uses 3M adhesion vs. a glue you must apply. Draw the area needed, sand and mold by hand or rubber mallet and your good to go. Fits well and does the job!

great idea, really thought this would be a solution for my wrapped boat that I trailer. Unfortunately, I did not read the installation instruction very carefully and I could not shape the Bow Guard EXACTLY to my 2015 Robalo Cayman. It only partially adhered, and now I need to figure out how to remove it without damaging my hull/wrap.

Read the directions & you won’t have any problems. Use a exterior clear silent to keep water out from under edges & you have a problem with it staying in the boat
