Looks rugged and Liked the fact that it has only 1 light mode - on\off instead of having to cycle through several other modes each time it is used. It stil has variable beam width though. A single charge lasts us a long time.

Its 30-watt LED sends a remarkably tight beam right across the field behind our house. The maker claims it will reach a kilometre, and, although I have never fetched the tape measure, I would not argue.Using it is refreshingly straightforward. One brightness level, one button, and that is it. When you are juggling a dog lead, two tired children and a wheelie bin, the last thing you need is a fiddly mode menu.The body feels as if it has been machined from a single lump of aluminium. Mine has already bounced down the patio steps and emerged unmarked, and last night’s filthy rain did not trouble it either, thanks to IPX7 sealing. A full charge of the 6,000 mAh battery gives me roughly ten hours, and the USB-C socket will top up a phone in an emergency, a godsend when every plug on the campsite is occupied.Gripes are minor. The small LCD fuel gauge is rather dim in daylight, and the torch is a touch too bulky to vanish into a coat pocket. Still, for the money it is astonishingly bright, properly tough, and genuinely handy. I expect it will earn its keep during many a late-night barbecue and the odd power cut.
