I had another canvas house slipper from another brand that is no longer making them. They were my absolute favorite slippers. These are as close as I can get to them! They are true to size and comfortable, the band doesn't cut into your foot even if you have a little swelling from time to time. They are durable and haven't started wearing down like the other cheaper brand I tried recently. They do have a little arch support but not a lot, as they are meant to be a comfortable almost bare-foot style. They look nice and honestly could be worn out in public. The band doesn't stretch but that's ok, because the inner canvas portion has some cushion and give to it. They learn the shape of your foot and fit well, and do not slip off easily. I'm only not sharing a pic because my feet are hideous!

I'm buying these again because my original pair finally wore out after two full years of daily use. I feel silly writing a review for slippers, but I have just been really impressed with the longevity of these. They've been comfortable, airy so that my feet don't sweat in them, odor-free, and have held up to occasional wear out on pavement and grass. I never expected slippers to last so long with this amount of wear, and what finally wore out was just the woven lining where my foot soles make contact with them, which is completely normal for natural materials. The rest of the slippers are fine, and with some effort, I'm sure I could make a new lining, but for now I'm just going to get a new pair.

Comfortable and light weight but they stretch out and get loose. Now I have to wear socks with them.

Very comfortable but frayed after one summer of in-house use. The inside heel is so worn for one slipper that it has to be discarded. Wish it could be more durable

[Overall experience] I purchased the slippers for my husband and myself about 4 months ago and we both very satisfied with the products. The cotton linen fabric, woven straw bottom, and stitches on the edges are all pretty good quality in my opinion. I also like its lightweight and nice design. I’m not sure about the negative reviews about the smelly issue as we haven’t experienced it so far. Overall I think it’s a pair of comfortable and good value slippers to have. [Size] My husband usually wears US size 8.5. I bought this slippers in size 8-9 for him and it fits pretty well. I usually wear US size 6.5-7, and I choose to go size 6-6.5 of this product. It also fits very well and comfortable.
