Great starter kit! Better than I expected...
This is really complete stater kit for arduino uno project. This arduino kit has everything from basic things like LED and jumper cable to arduino uno r3 board and arduino motor. The arduino board is clone product but it works as good as the original. Specially the RAB holder, using it, I can easily bring my finished projects to other places. The included documentation is easy to understand, the included projects are fairly easy to follow and the provide code make it actually easy to get something working on your Arduino. So far every component works well, following the guide, I made a project to make segment display working. i stick the breadboard and fix the arduino board on the platform, followed the guide to connect the jumper wire and resistors, after powered the Arduino board with USB cable, the segment display starter to work. Nice color and bright. This arduino kit provides a convenient all-in-one set of components, it is really well worth the cost and enough for anyone to get started with arduino.

I should have gotten one of these ages ago
The amount of items you get in the kit is amazing. Very good deal for the price. I am a professional software engineer and have done my share of breadboarding and embedded programming, but the Arduino makes it very easy to have fun while you learn. The software (from online) installed easily and correctly and immediately found the board when plugged into the USB port. If you are a beginner to software/hardware, I highly recommend reading the documentation. There are a lot of concepts to learn but they all are part of the experience. The abundance of YouTube videos is very useful. Most of the videos follow the Arduino examples of which there are many.I have my own project idea in mind, but will still go through the examples to have fun! This kit would make a good gift for anyone interested in software/hardware.

Everything you’ll need!
The kit is awesome. Chock full of everything you’ll need to get started using Arduino or even just some basic electronic circuits without shopping around for stuff you may not need. 2 small gripes for the 52 piece kit: no white LEDs, only colored ones; and the CDROM is one of those mini CDs which only work if you have a CDROM with a tray (desktop computers? Who has those these days??), so for me the CD was unusable. How about the option to go to a website with all of the tutorials and whatever else is on the CD? It’s 2018 and some computers may not even have a CDROM at all...Great kit overall though. Must buy for anyone even remotely interested in Arduino and electronics.

Nice but no orginization
It's a nice little collection of items for the money.Pros:Everything seems to be well made.A good collection of basic parts.Nice manuals in pdf format with a collection of projects.Cons:Not enough jumper wires.NO organization at all, just parts in a plastic case.Need:A compartmentalized storage box would have been 5 stars.

Very pleased
This is an edit of an earlier review where I was whining about a delivery delay that could have been communicated better. That's all resolved and I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I did a bunch of research in trying to choose a starter set that would be a good fit for me and this was it. The variety of parts is as wide as I could need for now although I'll probably get a pack of sensors later. I've kept myself busy while waiting for delivery by building simulated arduino circuits on tinkercad. This kit will easily be able to replicate what I designed online. I'd recommend this starter set.

II have purchased other Arduino "starter kits" and this was an amazing value!
I have purchased other Arduino "starter kits" and this was an amazing value! The arrangement and careful packing were an indication of quality as soon as I opened the box. The components were "fitted" to the kit's box so as to prevent damage with extra inserts of foam to protect critical items. The components supplied were more relevant to the range of projects I was most interested in. Quality and and value are the product dimensions I appreciate and I was very pleased with this kit. I intend to send some of these kits to my younger relatives. Delivery was as promised.

Hmm... Waste of money.
1) The item lists 3 CDS but on the manual they are actually referred to as "LDR".2) The PDF lists to use a 4.7k resistor, however the kit does not include a 4.7K resistor. It only has 1K, 10K, 220R, and 330R.3) The breadboard has difficult females. Some are easy to input the pins while others are very difficult.4) The 1602 Display fails to work.5) 9V battery is a generic battery.6) Requires a Piezo Rock Sensor, which the kit does not have.7) Requires a microphone Sensor, which the kit does not have.8) Advertise to use the LM35 Sensor but the lower quality DTH11 is included.9) Wrong diagrams are used in the PDF. It shows to use a LM35 sensor but a RFID is being displayed on the diagram.10)Summary: It is better to purchase an arduino separately along with the few sensors that come with it.

A little lacking
Overall the parts in the kit are decent for the price. There are a couple issues. 1. The jumpers provided are inadequate, there is not even a black jumper long enough to reach the bread board from the Uno ground. 2. The Tutorials are very poor. In the wiring diagrams images they are so pixelated its completely unreadable so it hard to be sure you are connecting the correct jumpers to the correct locations. Which could cause damage. Gave it three stars for having a decent selection of boards and stuff and taking two away cause now I have to order jumpers that are long enough and have to search for some online tutorials to put this kit to use. Attached is an image of the bad documentation included.
