Drolet Blower Saves Wood
The Drolet Blower Model AC02050 required modification of the heat shield on my Century Wood stove and I cut out a 8.25 wide by 3.5 inch high opening for mounting. The blower was very effective and quiet at a setting of about half max. The residual heat continued to keep the room warm long after the fire died down as the air flow was more effective than conduction alone. Unless the back of the wood stove is a walk up to matter you need to have the blower plugged into a surge protector or other on/off control as the blower does no good if there is no heat in the stove such as on a warm day in spring and fall.Once I realized that the easiest way to mount the blower was to cut the heat shield things went slowly as I was using a hack saw blade but smoothly. I hope this is a durable unit as it is very useful.

Excellent blower the house heats comfortably.
I like that it is quit, and it distributes the air evenly for a comfortable room. I think the blower is an excellent product . However when I received mine and plugged it in it was loud and seemed to be hitting some where. Looking at it i could see that it had been bent out of shape. I'm assuming it was damaged in transport. I straightened it out and it seems to work fine. I am very pleased with product and the timely service in which it arrived.

great blower. easy to attach
great blower. easy to attach. I have this on my drolet I have in my cabin. It it quieter than the one I have on my build in wood burner in my house. It has made a huge difference keeping my cabin warm. The drolet itself is nice but this makes it much better. worth the small extra price.

HOT AIR?
HOT AIR? Does move the air around the stove, but I expected more heat out of the stove. Just need a bigger stove. the fan does what is supposed to, but is loud on high.

Heat ahhhh
This blower works great. The movement of warm air through the stove is impressive. Although on high the blower is as loud As a box fan it allowsMe to heat my entire downstairs I usually keep it on low and the sound is unobtrusive. It was very easy to install. It took less than 20 minutes. It definitely works well. And after a few months I still feel this way
