We bought this for our cat. It is the best cat carrier we've ever tried, and we've tried quite a few. It is not the cheapest, but is worth the money. It is very sturdy, but also fully collapsible for storage. And fully (and easily) washable if your cat has an accident. Good ventilation. I'm not a huge fan of the colour and would have preferred the blue and silver that the larger size comes in. But that is just a personal choice and it does not detract from how good a carrier this is. There is no way your cat is escaping this carrier. Everyone at the vet always admires it too and asks where we got it. It would work just as well for a small dog, as is its original intended use.

Now, Amazon’s delivery was, as usual, exceptionally prompt. One moment we were batting around the packing paper, the next—a strange new structure was unfolding before us. Delivered swiftly, no doubt to prevent us from tunnelling our way out via the classic cardboard route. Clever of them. This…contraption, you see, has become both our sanctuary and our prison. Claude immediately dubbed it The Cooler and set about testing its limits. He wriggled, clawed, and even tried a rather bold sliding manoeuvre reminiscent of that great escape scene from The Shawshank Redemption. But alas—those lockable doors are as solid as the clink itself. No escape for him. Hygge, meanwhile, has adopted the crate as his napping hideout, murmuring something about “institutionalisation” while snuggled up in his personal padded paradise. As for me, I’ve been scouring the thing for weak points. Air vents, zip seams, anything that might yield to feline ingenuity. But it appears our humans have invested in quality craftsmanship. Blast. So here we are—three cats dreaming of freedom but finding ourselves continually lured back by the comfort and security this blasted crate provides. I hate to admit it, but it’s…not half bad. A respectable four stars, with one deducted for its ruthless refusal to yield to our escape efforts. And of course, kudos to Amazon for their timely and efficient service, like a warden serving breakfast right on schedule. We’ll keep trying. AMAZING! bought this for our cat about 2 years ago when he was a kitten, it was massive for him! but as he's grown he's still got plenty of room, folds away when you don't need it and its Nice and dark for him to hide in!!! we tend to put in something soft to make it nice and cosy but defo worth the Money !

Over the last year we have purchased multiple cat carriers, none of which until now have come close to satisfying our needs. The basic issue is that we have a number of semi-feral outside cats who, from time to time, need to be caught and transported to the vet. Needless to say, feral cats are not the most cooperative animals in this respect. Getting them into the cage is not that difficult. Just grab them by the scruff of the neck and drop them in. The problem is closing the cage before the animal jumps right back out. Originally we used a soft cage with a zipper closure. This was unsuitable as the cat could easily force itself back through the opening before you had a chance to zip it shut so we then tried a number of hard cages with wire doors that can be quickly shut and locked. This worked much better but the problem we have had is that many of these cages, even some of the more expensive ones to purchase, are made flimsily - presumably designed for docile domesticated cats. Several have broken (mainly the ones that are locked using a simple plastic lever) in such a way that an aggressive cat can force its way out. This is dangerous both for the animal and for its caregiver who may end up with an angry feral roaming the interior of a moving car. Fortunately, the Iris Ohyama cage has proved much better. We have now used it half a dozen times and are very pleased. The construction is solid (even though the cage does fold away) and the door and locking mechanism is reliable. We can now transport our uncooperative brood with confidence. Five stars. Edit (Feb 2023) : Six months on and still going strong. Still five stars.

Our cat is a very bad traveller and we limit it to vet journeys only. We originally had a holdall style carrier which looked great but wasn't solid. Since getting this carrier he seems less anxious and goes in and out of it regularly. Not tried a journey yet but we're very impressed with the quality and practicality of this product. A big bonus is that it folds flat which is great for storage purposes. Most importantly it has the seal of approval from the cat.

Bought this for our new rescue dog and it's great. We use it in the car and the double door means he can see us and stays calm. We leave it in the kitchen with the door open and he uses it as a bed when he wants to sleep. Assembly is very easy and it is very sturdy once assembled it can also be folded down if required for easy storage. I would definitely recommend this item it is an excellent quality dog carrier for a small dog.

I received this yesterday (very fast delivery) and used it today for a trip to the vets with my noisy siamese cat. Very easy to assemble and put down, plenty of room for my tall cat (I ordered the S). I would highly recommend this carrier if you want a quality product, you can also feel confident your pet is secure and not going anywhere until you open the door.

Ottimo trasportino, spazioso per un gatto di taglia media. Estremamente robusto, la plastica è di ottima qualità e le chiusure sono ben saldo, una volta richiuso ha l'ingombro di una valigetta. Nulla a che vedere con trasportini anche più costosi ma farti di plasticaccia che si rompe solo a guardarla, la plastica di questo trasportino ha uno spessore generoso e gli sportelli sono di metallo ottimamente verniciato. Per alcuni potrebbe essere un problema il peso, la robustezza comporta ovviamente che sia anche pesante, quindi dipende da voi se può andare bene o orientarvi sul classico trasportino di metallo se il vostro primo pensiero è la robustezza. Per me il peso non è un grosso problema, anzi, una volta caricato in macchina ed assicurato con la cintura di sicurezza non si muove di un millimetro. La veterinaria mi prende in giro perché secondo lei le serrature sono scomode, ma personalmente non trovo questa difficoltá, forse perché ho fatto quei 5 minuti di "prove tecniche":fai entrare gatto, fai uscire gatto. Il gatto non esce, gli piace molto stare lì dentro. Per concludere, questo è il mio nuovo standard se dovessi cercare un altro trasportino e questo dovesse finire fuori produzione, lo ricomprerei ad occhi chiusi. Ho 37 anni di esperienza con cani e gatti in gran numero, durante gli innumerevoli viaggi dal veterinario di trasportini ne ho provati a dozzine, pochi reggono il confronto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo, a patto di scendere a compromessi con il peso.

Es el segundo transportín que compro de esta marca, y estoy muy contenta con el producto. Es muy resistente y de buen tamaño. El hecho de que se pliegue es fantástico! El vendedor ha sido más que amable y eficiente resolviendo un problema que tuve con el transporte. Recomiendo totalmente el producto y el vendedor :)

Non credevo che un trasportino pieghevole fosse così solido, invece è ben fatto, grande e solido, le aperture sono sicure e fanno entrare ed uscire il gatto agevolmente
