Review: Top Produkt und Preis. - Top Produkt und Preis. Review: I'm a cookbook snob. - I'm a cookbook snob. I'm a judgmental little wanna-be Gordon Ramsey who is always tweaking recipes or yelling at the author "My gran could do better! And she's dead!" But this cookbook... it's perfection. Mwah! I've made at least a dozen recipes and they have all been huge hits. The chicken marinades and seasonings are out of this world. Some combos might seem a little odd at first, but go with it because yum yum yum. The Falafel is great, the soups are flavorful, the bowls are perfect, and as weird as sounds I could eat the pickled sumac onions by themselves. The Greek Salad took us back to Santorini and that's saying a lot because we've been talking about that darn salad since 2017. Pros: 1) There are lots of drool-worthy pictures. Not every recipe has a picture and that is sad, but I am willing to be okay-ish with it just this once. 2) 96% of ingredients are pretty standard stuff that you can find in a regular grocery store. 3) Instructions are easy to follow 4) Most recipes are celiac-friendly or can be modified to be gluten-free pretty easily with the exceptions of the breads. I tried 1:1 GF flour with the pitas and it just didn't work right. Cons: 1) Not every recipe has pictures. If it did, I'd give this cookbook a perfect score.
