I wore this dress to the Krewe of ROU (Royal Order of Unicorns) Mardi Gras Ball in 2019. It was gorgeous 6 years ago and I just pulled it out to maybe wear again and it’s just as beautiful. Great construction!It looks like you have a necklace on but it’s part of the dress. The attention to detail is amazing. The sequins are sparkly and it’s just everything you could want.I bought a size 14 (it may have been a 14 plus) and at the time I was 5’3”, 160lbs. I’ve had weight loss surgery so I had some extra skin around my belly. I actually felt like it hid it pretty well. I’ve since gained 20 pounds and just tried it again but it doesn’t fit without spanx and may not even fit with them. I’m about to order a second dress just like it in a bigger size.One last thing…it was too long but the fabric doesn’t fray so I was able to just take some scissors and carefully cut the front to fit my heels and then I just tapered toward the back so it had a tiny little train.I cannot recommend this dress highly enough!

EVERYONE LOVED MY DRESS AND THOUGHT I GOT IT FROM A BOUTIQUE!!!ORIGINAL COMMENTS:I cannot begin to describe how beautiful this dress is. I ordered the "gold" and it is absolutely GORGEOUS. It was worth every penny! While I have purchased some other clothing items on Amazon before, this was the first time I purchased a formal dress - and I was so worried. But I saw all the positive reviews and customer photos and thought I'd take a chance - and I am so glad I did! Not only does it seem well-made, but it's actually heavy (in a good way)! This is not cheap, flimsy material that feels like a Halloween costume from Walmart - it's got some weight and some substance to it! The detail is impeccable, the shine is brilliant, the fit is amazing! Talk about hugging you in all the right places! I showed some pictures to my friend and she was like "don't ever take that dress off. Wear it for the rest of your life." I have another one on the way (one of the white ones). It won't get here for a few weeks, but I know it will be worth the wait (the one I currently have took about a week, and it was *definitely* worth the wait). A few notes: This dress is not stretchy, but it isn't uncomfortable, in my opinion. I'm not sure that you'd be able to do any serious dancing in it (aside from slow dancing) - but if you're just trying to look amazing and aren't planning on "getting down" - this may be the dress for you. I used the size chart in the pictures - not the Amazon size chart. I measured my bust, waist, and hips and used my hip measurement because it's the widest of all 3. This caused me to have to go up about 2 dress sizes (I'm normally about an 8 and I ordered a 12) - it fits me perfectly EXCEPT I will have to get the waist taken in (but I was expecting this - I always have to get my waist taken in). Ladies, if you're on the fence, I'm here to push you off it! BUY THIS DRESS! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I was so excited after reading the reviews about receiving this dress. Once I received it, I could not wait to try it on.It's kind of heavy which is not a bad thing. I think that proves to the keep of the dress long-term.In my case the dress did not fit the way that I hope that it would. I probably could have kept it to have some alterations done, but the event that I was attending needed me to have a dress that was already ready without having to have any Tailoring done. I ordered an extra large which is my typical size. For reference my hips are 44, my waist is a 36, and my chest is 34. I have a pear shape and although the dress fits snug on the bottom, in this case the top was loose and was did not fit and it gave me sort of a disheveled look. I was able to return this dress without any issues, and they did credit my account back immediately once they receive the dress. Nothing against the style or the dress it just did not fit me the way that I needed it to.

I absolutely loved this dress!! Loved the craftmanship and little sequins. Absolutely Gorgeous and didn't break the bank. I wore it for what was supposed to be my daughter's quincenera, but CoVid happened, and it turned into her Sweet 16. The pizzazz it gives was unmatched! I did need an alteration since I am smaller chested so the chest netting was taken in and I'm larger in the waist size, but you can't really tell. I've never worn sequins so just a heads up to others that also haven't worn sequins, it is scratchy to your arms, but it was worth it. I like the uniform look of the sequins and I don't think it would've looked the same if it didn't have sequins on the underarm area. Def a 10/10 for me.

I am a size 12-14. I ordered a 14 for this dress and it’s way too small. Fits more like a 10. Can’t zip up. The breast cups sewn into dress are way too high. Shoulder sleeves so tight I couldn’t lift my arms. Dress itself was beautiful and I wish it could fit.What really sucks is to return this it’s not an easy Amazon return. You have to repackage yourself and ship back on your own dime to China. Shipping from US is about $70-80 so not even worth returning.Very disappointed and don’t recommend risking this purchase.
