Installed Heavy Duty Grip Tape w/Glow in the Dark Strip on 15 composite stairs, 7Nov2025 with temp ~62 degrees. With some patience and attention to detail, the process, overall was easy and well worth the cost. The strip and roller (sold separately) were delivered in 2 days and exactly as promised with only a small hiccup, which I planned for, by buying the longer roll (see below). Process that worked for me: - 1st: I cut the strips to desired lengths (I had multiple sets) and rounded the corners. - 2nd: cleaned the stairs going down and once dried, installed (going up) and rolling each strip before moving to the next one. - NOTE: When peeling the back to install, I found pulling about ~10 inches from one side, aligning with just a corner, then pressing down after aligned, worked the best. I then peeled about 6 inches at time and pressed with my hand, continually ensuring alignment. - After all the backing was removed, using a roller, I then rolled the length of the strip a few times, then went back and did the short side for the whole length. After rolling, the glue is on and will be tough to remove, FYI. - Be careful because when I wasn't, I left a little skin as payment for carelessness. The grip is just like sandpaper, as it should be for its functionality of purpose. I went with the 4 in x 60 ft size to ensure if there were any issues, I'd have plenty to deal with and this was a good thing as roughly 8.5 feet had the strip for the glow in the dark but there was no glow in the dark material. That was the only sort of issue, as there was plenty on the roll to cover that deficiency. I have a few other areas where I will still use the strips, as it feels that good, so this was not a waste. The material seems well put together and as such, its functionality is exactly as described, so Yes, I would encourage others to purchase and use.

Used this anti‑slip tape on our stairs and on the ramp that folds down on the back of my husband’s trailer — and let me tell you, it’s doing its job. No more falls, no more near‑misses, and no more unplanned gymnastics routines. It sticks well, grips even better, and gives me a little peace of mind every time someone goes up or down. Simple, tough, and totally worth it.

Is that was well worth the money easy to put down it was easy to cut. I'm glad we bought this!

Price was fair. Just a couple of observations. The glow portion, never really have seen it glow, but it does help delineate the edge of the stair in low light conditions. That same yellow line does have some inconsistencies in it, so it will irritate the perfectionist types out there. More frustrating is when the plastic liner tears when you are pulling it off and you have to try and restart pulling it off-- my advice definitely have help if you are using pieces any longer than 3 feet. That being said, I do like this overall, especially for the price.

Very durable traction tape. I used this for my deck steps to protect people as they walk the steps. This tape is very strong. It is 60 grit, which in my opinion is rougher on the surface than the 80 grit. It was easily cut into sectioned strips and applied directly to the wood steps on my deck. The one nice feature is that it has the glow in the dark strip. This helps for those dark periods when you can’t see the steps. Overall very pleased and after 2 months, they are still holding up without any deterioration, loss of grit or peeling off the steps. They have been wet a few times and they are still as good as it was when I first applied them. Great product. Reasonable price with reasonable amount of tape. Well worth the investment.

Good quality adhesive. Looks good. I used it on the edge of a concrete garage to see the small ledge to prevent ppl from tripping.

I was really happy to have this put on our steps so when we went out in the dark the reflective stripe is easy to see on the steps and that part is great. It has easily torn, the places it wouldn't stick, my husband stapled down which was almost every place. It does help being non skid. Probably would not buy again. I really like the idea though.

I got this for outside steps to the house as previous owner coveted all in terracotta!!!! When wet they are like walking on ice. Fortunately it rarely snows here so I can’t tell you what that would be like. I bought as my husband is registered blind and this on the edge of the steps not only let’s him knows he is at the edge ( or beginning ) of the step it has a different texture for his blind stick . It is also very strong tough and brilliant quality. The only way I can describe the texture is it’s like a very strong and rough sandpaper. Plus I feel safer walking on the steps if wet and not so fearful of the children/adults visiting

I ordered two rolls for some concrete stairs to prevent people slipping on them. This has been working as advertised since applied. It is still sticking well to the steps and the glow-in-dark strip lights up as well. I think it was good value for money.
