Yes it's 2" a small and legal pocket knife

Q: How do you close it? No matter what I do it won't close.

When you open the blade there is a small piece of metal inside the blade compartment that moves over to lock the blade open. You have to hold that piece of metal back with your finger as you start to move the blade to close. Once the blade just starts to close you can release your finger and proceed to finish closing.
