Q: How long does a charge last?

I use it probably 3 times a day for maybe 3 seconds each time and it lasts about 2 weeks.

Q: Compared with similar lighters of other brands, how is this lighter?

Over 3 months of daily use and the lighter still works! I have used at least 4 other similar lighters and they were all terrible. Few lasted more than a week (or 2 recharges). One never worked and returning it got me a replacement that worked three times and never recharged. I have noticed that you should clean it regularly - weekly or so - to get rid of any carbon build up. But this was simple using a small brush (I wish they included one but I used an old toothbrush). So far, I am impressed. It does need recharging every few days - so if you want for an extended camping trip it would likely need a recharge at some point. Nevertheless, it is reliable and works as advertised after months of daily use.

Hi, there is a indicator light on the usb lighter. When the blue light is on, it means charging. When the lights go out, it means that it is full.
