Does the solution alternate between each nostril i.e. in left out right then in right out left?

That is, it can flow into the left nostril and out of the right nostril, or into the right nostril and out of the left nostril. You do this by twisting the nasal dock and rotating it 180 degrees. You can change direction at any time, even in the middle of an irrigation cycle!

We recommend that you rinse your Naväge Nose Cleaner after every use and that you thoroughly clean it at least once a week. Here’s how: Rinsing Rinse the crushing chamber lid under very hot water for 30 seconds. This will melt away salt crystals, if any. Rinse the drain and drain pipe by lifting the drain pull and running hot water through it. Cleaning Upper and lower tanks, nose pillows, and nasal dock: Detach these from the white mechanical module and thoroughly wash them with antibacterial dishwashing soap, offered by all the major brands and labeled “Antibacterial”. You can also use a solution of half white vinegar and half water. White Mechanical Module: Wipe the underside with a cloth dampened with antibacterial soap or vinegar and water. Do not immerse or run water onto the mechanical module. Please note: Do not place the Naväge Nose Cleaner in a dishwasher. It is not dishwasher safe. Exposing the tanks to dishwasher heat may warp and prevent them from sealing to the center module. Running the Nose Cleaner through a dishwasher voids the warranty and will likely damage the device. Do not rinse the underside of the white mechanical module with running water, as this may damage the pump. Instead, wipe it with a damp cloth. How young can a child be to use this system?

The Naväge System is cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and by Health Canada for use by children ages 12 and older, and that is what we recommend. However, as a result of customer feedback, we’re aware of children ages 6 and older who, with the recommendation of their physician and under the supervision of an adult, regularly use the device with great success. If that is what you are considering, RhinoSystems' Medical Director, Dr. Howard Levine, strongly urges you to consult your child’s physician before use to determine if Naväge could be the right fit for your child. In addition, feedback from parents indicates it is essential for the parent to have first used the Naväge system him or herself personally, in order to help instruct the child in proper use. We are not aware of children under the age of 6 who have used the device, and under no circumstances should Naväge be given consideration for use by infants and toddlers. how often are you suppose to use it

We suggest you use Naväge twice a day, just like brushing your teeth. However, Naväge is completely natural and drug-free, and health professionals agree that it’s safe to use as often as needed or wanted. We recommend that new users use Naväge twice a day for the first couple of weeks - once in the morning and again before bed. This will give you a very good idea of the benefits you can enjoy with daily nasal care. Ultimately, you will find your own level of use. It may be three times a day; it may be three times a week; it may be more in the winter or more during heavy pollen seasons. But in our experience, once a Naväge user masters the system (and for most people it doesn't take long - just a few irrigation cycles!) you will find the right frequency for yourself. Good product, bad experience.

I bought this item once before a few years ago in Canada, and it really makes a difference if you have allergies. However, the last two times I bought it in Dubai, the first time it was allegedly handed off directly to customer, which is not the case, so I ordered it again, and this time it came defective. Each time had to wait over a week to receive. Hoping that third time's a charm.

A significant improvement over other competitive nasal cleaning products, which I have used previously. What I like. A) Very easy to fill, load and clean. B) Gently "Pulling" versus "pushing" cleaning water solution through and around the nasal cavity is a much better idea. C) LIked the fact that water/salt solution flow can easily be reversed in direction from the left or the right nostril by simply "rotating" the nose insert. D) Liked the clear "visibility" before, during and after a session. E) Works efficiently requiring about 30 seconds to complete a cleaning F) Really helps to clear my sinuses, improve breathing (and sense of smell) and very helpful with Sleep. G) Extremely easy to fill correctly with pre-measured Salt Pods and water. H) very easy to rinse and clean I) The Stand is very useful for holding both the Device and Salt Pods. J) Most importantly, it is very safe !!! Summary, Navage Nasal Care is the "Absolute Best of the Bunch".

Description says 48 Pods, but it comes with 30. Product itself is alright. But pretty annoyed I spent the extra money for the 48 pod pack and got ripped off.
