The review will be primarily on the scent, as I bought this to test out the ‘Olive Leaf’ scent before committing to the perfume bottle. The lotion itself is not bad nor extraordinarily good.This scent is, to me, notably feminine. I bought the soap hoping it would smell like Aleppo laurel soap, which it almost does, thought wildly dialed up, much more feminine, and far less earthy. The base of the perfume is a soft musc, perhaps a bit of cashmere too. If you like clean ‘skin’ scents, like deadcool’s ‘milk’, or glossier’s ‘you’, this has that vibe to it. There is a distinct ‘creaminess’ to the scent that is perhaps only masculinized to unisex by the addition of some sharp spicy note that tickles my sinuses, perhaps the patchouli and lavender. I wouldn’t say this is a masculine scent, though I certainly wouldn’t be bowled over if a man wore it.To me, it smells exactly like Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc if someone steeped in it bay leaves and patchouli.I don’t think this is a safe blind buy. As with any distinct scent, and one that’s not commonly found in products, I can see some people disliking it or even finding it screechy-ly clean.That being said it’s worth a try. It is quite addictive and dare I say grown woman sexy? There is nothing childish or vanilla gourmand about it, and it doesn’t veer into animalic amber floral bomb either. I like it.

I'm always on the lookout for a "true" gardenia fragrance and the closest I have come is Kai, but since I love all of Thymes' other fragrances, I thought I'd give this a shot despite the mixed reviews. This is not true gardenia, but it is a luscious, beautiful, clean floral fragrance without that weird "over sweet" musty smell that almost all other gardenia perfumes and scents have. I don't know what sort of floral this is, but I like it so much I want the entire line.As far as the lotion itself, it's AMAZING. My hands get so dry and cracked from washing them 6,000 times a day, chemicals from art supplies and solvents, plus hours in the swimming pool with the chlorine (I'm an endurance/distance swimmer), and nothing helps them but thick coats of Neutrogena hand gel, which means I can't do anything with my hands for a while after I apply that.This lotion, which went on soft and creamy and absorbed instantly, literally healed my hands in a day. Now I use it religiously, whether my hands are dry or not, and it's wonderful- absorbs quickly, smells divine, and doesn't make my hands greasy or sticky.Love, love, love.

This eucalyptus hand lotion is a refreshing miracle! It leaves my hands soft, smooth, and smelling amazing. Must-have!

Love the smell it self but I cant bring myself to wear it since it kind of smells like my boss so I gave it to him. It has a soft pine woods scent that smells luxurious that will work for an earthy scent. Just not my style. After an hour, the scent softens but still lingers. Skin feels soft too. Its great.

This is a nice sophisticated scent. It goes so well with a lot of the other fragrances from this brand. It's fresh and it's exciting it lasts a little while a few hours if you work in like an office setting and you put it on it doesn't last after you wash your hands obviously but it does last a good 6 hours in an office air conditioning type of environment then starts to disappate. so it's very office friendly if you work in an office and it's friendly for male thru female. it's really really nice for that and I just love it. I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this hand cream because its advertised and branded as eucalyptus—my favorite botanical smell—hand cream, but when I used it, I only noticed a lemon citrus aroma. After intial sampling, I smelt test against other eucalyptus products just to make sure my memory of the smell was accurate, and my opinion remains the same.I am disappointed and annoyed and at the very least, this product should be branded as Lemon Grass with Eucalyptus notes. I do not want that product, nor did I purchase that product, and I am returning.The cream itself is of good quality, but the lacking of the right smell is too much of a fundamental flaw for me to increase the rating. Packaging is also kind of basic considering the price, but this did not effect my rating. If you want good quality lemon grass smelling lotion buy (the smell is not unpleasant), but I am going to look elsewhere for a eucalyptus product.
