I did notice after the first week I was getting less hair in my brush and in the shower drain, now after a couple months none to very little in shower drain and brush, skin is softer and not flaky.

I was diagnosed with osteopenia in late 2015 when I was 77 years old. My physician suggested I start one of the medications usually prescribed for this condition but I did a little research and came across Horsetail. I have now been taking 2 of these capsules every day, as this is one of the oldest known plants containing silica. My next bone scan in 2019 was similar to the earlier one and my new physician told me that my risk for fracture was not high enough to consider medication!I take Solaray as nothing has been added and it is pure silica encapsulated in vegetable cellulose. Do I recommend Horsetail? I can only speak for myself....and yes.....for me it worked great! And an added bonus, it also makes my hair shine and my nails have lost their ridges!

I take medication that had hair loss listed as a side effect so I started taking this supplement to ward off any hair loss. Although I see increased hair loss in the shower, my hair appears to be just as thick as before, and my hair dresser agrees. I appear to have lots of new growth, especially in my temples. My hair is growing at a slightly faster rate, I can tell in between haircuts it gets a slightly longer length (I measure it as I am growing it out). No miracle cure but it helps!

Take one daily instead of calcium supplements since I'm don't drink or eat dairy products because of food allergies...my bone density was great!...my orthopedic doctor was amazed that a woman at 69 years of age didn't have some degree of osteoporosis and hadn't had a bone density test or had been taking a prescription calcium pill.....well he called me personally and told me he'd never seen a test score so excellent and said I'd never have to worry about my bones they were like a young persons...thanks to this horsetail supplement and homeopathic doctor telling me about this supplement years ago

Have been using this product for over 10 years for hair skin and nails. It works. Thank you Amazon for making this an add-on which makes it affordable. I take 4 capsules daily in the morning and I look a lot younger then my peers
