Will it fit a young child 7 and 8?

I am not sure how large the wrist of that age group is, but my prayer rope bracelet measures about 7.5 inches in circumference. It does stretch a bit and you can squeeze it back in place, but there is really no elasticity in it. Hope that helps!!
