I was very skeptical of these as I've bought different hipsters lately and just can't seem to get any that fit properly, were comfortable, didn't irritate, or ride up. I am relieved to have tried these. My litmus test is if I forget I have them on - I've gotten the right ones. I just ordered 6 more in a different color palette. But honestly, $40.00 for a multi-pack of 6 thinnish cotton underwear seems overly pricey to me, hence the 4 stars.
