Works as intended BUT the magnifying part you use to look through or "view" the ear drum is kinda wonky if your at different angles making it hard to see detail. If your subject will sit perfectly still it's ok but if not.. good luck. I can use if my child is asleep but hard to get a good look otherwise.

Overall I like the product but the bag it came in fell apart.

I was excited to find inexpensive otoscope, but it doesn't use the Welch Allyn disposable covers we have at work. Covers will cost me $15 a week, so I'm sending it back.
