Is the keyboard quite? My current keyboard is very loud when typing. I have bought 2 keyboards that advertised quite keys but are not.

I find this keyboard to be pretty quiet, although not silent. I also hate loud keyboards.

Does this keyboard work with mac books?

Yes! I have a macbook and use this keyboard perfectly. There is an easy way to go into system preferences>keyboard>modifier keys and make the behavior of the keys work for your macbook. (like remapping ctrl for cmd).

How do you eliminate wrist pain with this keyboard? It is so slim that it is actually causing me pain.

I just put two slim refrigerator magnets at the bottom of the keyboard. This caused some elevation and reduced my wrist pain. You can try that
