Absolutely great product for your money!
This thing takes a while to install! While it is pretty straightforward, it definitely isn't a beginner level process. While it instructs cutting the ignition wires, instead, I left them connected and spliced into them for 2 reasons: 1) I don't know this manufacturer and wasn't sure it wasn't going to fail and 2) I wanted to maintain functionality of "key on, engine off" for the sake of OBD scanning. Other than some failing wiring issues I ran into (mostly due to splicing, definitely my fault), this product works great!Notes:This product uses negative (-) signals for the locks. This means I had to add relays in my truck to reverse this. Nothing major but some added expense. There's a wire that's supposed to connect to the oil pressure sending unit (tells the remote starter that the engine has successfully started and is running and anotherstarting attempt isn't necessary). But when I connected mine to it there isn't enough voltage to satisfy the unit so it kept trying to start the engine every 10 seconds after it was already running, resulting in grinding the starter. I fixed this by running my fuel pump wire from the ECM to a relay (it didn't have enough power either) then from the relay to both the fuel pump and the remote starter unit.I also had to defeat a couple mechanical ignition-activated anti-theft devices. In my case, the shifter lock and steering wheel lock. This adds some considerable time to the install. This isn't necessary if you cut the wires to your ignition and simply leave it in the "running" position.

Some problems
I got this kit because I really wanted the keyless entry and push start, and this was the cheapest one. Even the more expensive ones had problems, so I just said what the heck. Here are the problems:Short ground wires, and there are actually two wires for some reason. I snipped off the wire coming directly out of the box and used the ground on the ignition harness, and it works fine with just the one. A side note, the oil pressure wire is only used for remote start AFAIK. Using the push start activates the starter for a preset amount of time. Also, don’t connect the horn wire. I think honking the horn when you unlock and unlock would be very annoying for me personally. There is no trunk trigger or button on the remote, which is somewhat annoying if you’re coming from the store and want to load groceries. You have to open the door then open the trunk. The fobs came with no batteries. Really? There was no immobilizer bypass included, which is fine I guess but buyer beware. There were zipties included but not enough in my opinion. The button is okay quality. Sometimes I will press the button lightly and it doesn’t register. The instructions were pretty vague. If you’re going to install one of these, you must have a wiring diagram with wire colors as well as the factory wiring manual so you can see the locations of the connectors, pinouts, etc. *Make a gameplan before you order.*If you turn off the car while pressing the brake, it restarts. I would’ve rated 5 stars if not for this problem. It is so annoying. Please let me know if my unit is faulty and should not be doing this. Another annoying thing is that there are no DIP switches unlike the Easyguard kit to configure settings like these. This unit sends out a single pulse to unlock the doors, which in my car only unlocks the driver door. There is no way to reprogram this afaik. Very annoying...All in all, I would recommend this unit anyway. It’s so much more convenient than taking out the fob and key, pressing unlock, sticking the key in and turning it on.Edit 3/1 (6 months later)LEDs in push button have stopped working. It still functions.I’ve also had some issues. Sometimes when the car is on it doesn’t turn off unless I press unlock on the fob, and then I have to press the brake pedal to turn it off. It only does this maybe 1/20 times. Also, it has locked my fob inside once. The PKE antennas should be stronger. I’m also experiencing battery drain but I’m not sure if this is the culprit, I’ll update this to verify.

Love it!
I installed it in my 2003 Ford Explorer and I love it, it is very practical although sometimes you have to take out the remote to open the car and I really like the remote start.

Key fob has no batteries
You'd think for the cost they would have included the batteries. The instructions were poor. The language did not properly translate. They do not keep extra instructions available online. They do not include helpful diagrams for models. It would have been great if they did or had an option to purchase a wiring diagram. It also doesn't include any wire parts to splice. My mechanic is struggling to install in my Buick.

Excelente producto

DEAD CAR BATTERY!!!
Everything works as advertised for now. But when I park my car for the night, I come out the next morning and it’s completely dead. I’ve taken the car to the shop to make sure it’s nothing else. The keyless entry unit is KILLING MY CAR!
