Fits well in 2001Ranger 3.0
Seems to be a decent choice for a 192* thermo for a Ranger with 3.0. Felt slightly less substantial than the one I replaced it with. Have driven a few times since install and it seems to be working properly. Solid choice for the price so far.

Best motor part invention.
The only thermostat I use. Fail safe. all thermostats wear out but this one stays open when it wears out so your vehicle wont overheat. I use it in all my older ford vehicles 300 302 351 and 460. I guess I am a ford guy.

Fits Flex Fuel 3.0 OHV Vulcan. Nice extra insurance against overheating!
Nice having the extra insurance of this stat locking in open position if car overheats! Seen other reviews saying that it failed because it locked open, but that probably saved their car and didn't even know it! Seems accurate so far, temp gauge stays in same range it did with stock thermostat.
